Amazon Product Manager, Artificial General Intelligence - Data Services in Boston, Massachusetts

Description

AI is the most transformational technology of our time, capable of tackling some of humanity’s most challenging problems. That is why, Amazon is investing in generative AI (GenAI) and the responsible development and deployment of large language models (LLMs) across all of our businesses. Come build the future of human-technology interaction with us.

We are seeking a dynamic, entrepreneurial product manager who is passionate about bringing the power of GenAI to Amazon businesses and our customers. If you enjoy leading product and program innovation to build products used by Amazon teams and customers, then join our team. We are looking for a customer-obsessed leader who enjoys discovering the customer requirements, innovating on their behalf, and developing experiences that raise the bar.

You will be the voice of the customer and responsible for driving a product roadmap and associated programs that enables Amazon to responsibly develop and deploy AI models across all of our businesses. You will have the responsibility of inventing on behalf of our customers and advocating for their needs throughout design, build, and launch. Additionally, you will be responsible for measuring business impact by diving deep into metrics and customer inputs. You should have a positive attitude and strong work ethic; you will work fast and smart, and adapt and iterate quickly. Let’s have fun too!

Key job responsibilities

In this position, you will lead a cross-functional team defining product and program requirements across the company. You’ll work with our customers, partners, and operational stakeholders to prioritize roadmap features and work closely with our best and brightest GenAI scientists to improve the performance of our models.

A day in the life

Given the scope and high level of ownership, rarely are two days the same. You are a business owner, customer-facing representative for the service, and point of contact for partner teams. On a weekly basis, you will be working with customers to learn about the problems they are trying to solve, analyzing service and business metrics, writing PRFAQs, Business Requirement Documents, and iterating on product decisions with the Science and Technical teams.

On a daily basis, you'll have a chance to work with everyone who makes our products successful, including senior leadership, engineers, technical product teams, business and sales experts, marketing, advocates, data scientists, content writers, and more. You will meet with customers to understand our core strengths and weaknesses. You will synthesize that feedback and other industry knowledge, with business and service data, to create strategies and test hypotheses.
