CVS Health Product Manager API in Boston, Massachusetts

Job Description

The Sr. Product Manager will be part of our API

Center of Enablement team and will be working

closely with external and internal teams and bring

APIs as a product mindset into the enterprise. This

role will deliver value for customers and business by

managing the product development process to bring

new APIs to market by collaborating with external

and internal stakeholders, aligning with leadership,

and managing project scope and timelines.


  1. Collaborate with technical teams to drive

execution – Partner with project teams for

maintenance and maturity of platform and

development portal in this hands-on role driving

products from inception to implementation.

Participate in production releases, troubleshoot

issues and report metrics and KPIs necessary for

success of the API program. 40%

  1. Enable BU capabilities on new platform creating

value with nimble and easy to use APIs - Work

closely with our business team and educate them to

develop products with an API product Mindset. Help identify business value, understand required use

cases and capabilities, and help translate these into

product requirements. 30%

  1. Support 3rd party API integrations - Engage with

partnerships and external 3rd parties for use case

exploration, prioritization of backlog features with

BUs, support from start to Go live and resolve issues

reported. 20%

  1. Participate in privacy/legal/security sessions

ensuing the APIs and platform is built with CVS

standards 10%

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of work experience in working/managing APIs

  • 5+ years of experience in product development in a

retail, healthcare, technology, Digital or regulated

business setting (ideally using agile development

methods to create/implement CRM, ESP, marketing

cloud, or other personalization technology)

Preferred Qualifications

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to concisely and

effectively convey your rationale and needed actions

to engage


Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
