We are looking for multiple Digital Business Design Specialists and Associates to drive digital innovation and services globally. The role of Digital Business Design Associate/Specialist is at the core of Schneider Electric’s digital transformation, arguably the mostsolutions to a digital-driven provider of services based on understanding users, data and connectivity.

The mandate of Digital Transformation Group is to support Business Units in creating market-leading digital offers by working closely with product teams. At our core we help the Schneider Electric Business Units accelerate their business and deliver innovation. We drive innovation acceleration through understanding user insights and business needs from ideation to launch. In practice, we bring the capabilities to support BU offer service creation from end to end, including user research, marketing, product design, technology, IT, cloud services, connectivity, data science, and more.

The focus of a Digital Business Design Associate/Specialist is on customer value proposition, product design, and business model design.We are looking for team players who are passionate about enabling Customer Success and bringing market-leading offerings to market. Experienced in Design Thinking for Business methods who can blur the lines between strategy and creative is desired. You will begin as a core member on a business design team and the expectation is that you will grow into a project leader.

Key responsibilities:

Understand the needs of BU leaders and stakeholders to scope engagements

Design new business models that enhance and extends customer experiences while creating new opportunities for revenue

Design new products, services, and consumer experiences that differentiate us from our competitors

Lead key deliverable's throughout digital offer creation lifecycle, including customer input, value proposition, customer journeys, business model, prototypes, technical offer requirements, user stories, operating model, go-to-market strategy, roll-out plan, and more

Collaborate with other teams within Digital Transformation and IoT Group – Analytics, Digital Services Platform, Pervasive Sensing, Digital Intelligence Platform – to ensure end-to-end support to product teams

Work with executives to set priorities within verticals, align on Schneider Electric IoT

strategy, promote collaboration and best practices

Help drive customer + user-centric digital transformation across the company and be an

active advocate

This job might be for y*ou if you have:*

Requirements:

  • 3-7+ years of experience designing and launching new products and/or services as Businesses
  • Familiarity with dynamics of modern digital business innovation and Design Thinking is preferred
  • Familiarity of Building, Energy, Data Center, or Industry markets is helpful
  • Bachelor’s degree is required, advanced degree or MBA preferred
  • Experience working in a fast-moving, multi-stakeholder, and evolving organization with a large degree of ambiguity– you should have the passion to help the team be faster, innovative, and disruptive
  • Ability to work independently and lead multiple work streams of larger projects with multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to lead by influence
  • Experience working with remote teams and across time zones to foster cohesive and creative work environment
  • Comfort in dynamic, ambiguous environments and passion to help the team be faster, innovative, and disruptive.
