The Product Delivery Manager will be accountable for shaping, managing and leading the delivery of new products and any product enhancements deliveries within the OBL Academic Product Portfolio. Working across pillars as the single point of contact for product delivery, control and governance to ensure successful release of the desired outcomes to customer expectations, quality and timeline.
Responsible for articulating, tracking and managing communication between the product delivery team and key internal and external stakeholders related to both new and changing product & service deployments. This role will determine critical calls to action as well as messaging and adoption plans related to the implementation of the solution roadmap and delivery of digital products in support of the OBL K-12 learning experience. This includes working with product managers and various delivery owners (e.g., educators, school leaders, sales, student success, program managers, business development) to raise awareness of training to be equipped and communicate how OBL Products & Services should be adopted initially before business acceptance & handoff.
Core Tasks and Responsibilities
Collaborate with Product Managers, Product Owners, Product Development, Sales, School Leaders, Program Managers, Student Success, Training and Go-to-Market, and other stakeholders to shape operational practices, to message key calls to action, and communicate product & service implementations.
Provide regular and ongoing input into the planning and prioritization of the solution roadmap, development features, and user stories for curriculum-based K-12 products.
Participate with stakeholders to prioritize development requests in accordance with SAFe agile methodology. This will involve working closely with a variety of cross-functional stakeholders.
Ensure all stakeholder voices are heard and clear priorities are set for delivery teams.
Partners with School Services, OBL Staff & Schools, and the Efficacy team to identify Core Standards targets & measures to evaluate the effectiveness of our products & services to inform & prioritize opportunities for improvement and data driven decisions.
Take the lead in defining Product Operations processes and structure to achieve our goals and serve as the point of contact to other OBL functions for delivery plans
Track accountability for dependency, risk and issue management; managing mitigation across delivery and release and OBL business units.
Creating, updating and tracking delivery performance to the overall Product Release plan
Ensuring the quality of deliverables within a Release are within the defined and agreed acceptance criteria
Communicating effectively to Product management teams, Business Owners and cross OBL stakeholders, translating ‘project delivery speak’ to business terminology to promote business confidence and buy-in
Leading, supporting and motivating the delivery team; leading by example and driving delivery momentum and energy
Track progress, elevate issues, and serve as a close advisor to the Product Leadership team to ensure progress in critical areas
Works closely with Product Management, Product Development, School Services, Marketing & Enrolment, and Client Development & Strategic Partnerships as a part of the OBL family and in support of high-quality K-12 virtual learning experiences.
Responsible for collaborating with OBL and Pearson partners to establish standards aimed at improving learner & school performance, working with teams to develop operational standards, and working confidently with School Services & Partner Schools for implementation and performance monitoring

Bachelor’s degree required in Business, Education, or Technology
Minimum of 5- years’ experience and success in delivering product or operational practices
Experience with efforts to ensure that customer needs are understood and addressed with messaging and communication plans
Knowledge of Microsoft and Google business applications preferred.
