Boston University PRODUCER, PODCASTS, WBUR Program & Production in BOSTON, Massachusetts

We’re looking for a creative, ambitious, collaborative journalist to join our podcast team in creating the future of local audio news. You’ll play a leading role in the daily creation of the show, working with a top-notch production team as well as hosts, correspondents and reporters in the newsroom. While working closely with WBUR journalists to bring the newsroom’s daily reporting to the show, you will also be working to report original, enterprise stories. You’ll also contribute to the show’s identity and voice on other platforms, including text, social and live events. We’re looking for someone who lives and breathes audio storytelling, who loves to experiment and break free of convention. Someone who thrives in a deadline-driven daily news environment. Someone who will contribute to fostering an inclusive, supportive work environment in which each team member has a role to play in bringing the podcast to life each day. The producer should have significant experience producing for audio platforms, whether broadcast or podcasts. Public media experience is a plus. This position has the ability to be hybrid.

Required Skills

Bachelor's degree or relevant experience required. At least three years of related work experience required.
