Meta Privacy Program Manager, Privacy Strategic Initiatives in Boston, Massachusetts

Summary:

Meta is looking for a Program Manager to join its Central Privacy Organization, supporting the Privacy Strategic Initiatives Team. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is skilled at leading complex cross-functional initiatives and is excited to support privacy at Meta. The Privacy Strategic Initiatives team helps design, promote and facilitate adoption of strategic projects and initiatives that involve multiple functions within the Central Privacy Organization and cross-functional teams throughout the company. In this role, you will help identify and synthesize strategic privacy capabilities within product teams and determine how to track and enable privacy initiatives across Meta products. You will drive prioritization of large scale privacy initiatives across all Meta products as well as ensure that customized and tailored solutions are developed when appropriate. You will serve as the bridge across multiple cross-functional privacy teams, helping build and scale privacy programs and processes across the company. This Program Manager will be process-oriented and bring operational excellence to the privacy program initiatives they lead. This is a highly collaborative role; success will require strong cross-functional collaboration, excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to pivot between high-level strategic planning and operational execution. You should be a team player who is comfortable challenging our existing ways of working and bringing a fresh perspective to our approach. You will play a key role in shaping and executing strategic initiatives for the Central Privacy Organization alongside key partners and stakeholders.

Required Skills:

Privacy Program Manager, Privacy Strategic Initiatives Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with the Central Privacy Organization and cross-functional partner teams across the company to develop a comprehensive view and prioritization of the privacy work that is most important

  2. Foster and cultivate deep partnerships with cross-functional stakeholders across privacy and product teams

  3. Influence teams in a rapidly evolving, critical area for Meta, and drive collaboration on highly cross-functional initiatives

  4. Identify, prioritize and support initiatives that leverage the collective capabilities of multiple teams, and drive coordination, clarity, and a cohesive strategy to map and unblock interdependencies across individual teams

  5. Actively identify, track and drive resolution on issues and risks for the projects

  6. Build, scale, and operationalize processes and programs that enhance efficiency while meeting programmatic requirements

  7. Develop and implement methods and capabilities to define and measure the progress and success of programs in a standardized and consistent manner

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 5+ years experience with product marketing, project management program management, strategy, management consulting, communications and/or operations

  2. Experience working directly with senior management including executive and C-suite level, both inside and outside of a company

  3. Personable communicator with a track record of aligning cross-functional teams around a common goal

  4. Experience navigating ambiguity

  5. Experience distilling competing stakeholder needs into a set of clear strategic priorities and actionable next steps

  6. Project management, time-management and organizational skills

  7. Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and autonomously in a fast-paced, high-growth environment

  8. Demonstrated aptitude for problem-solving and delivering operational results

  9. Experience working within a product environment and partnering with product managers and engineering functions

  10. Experience operating autonomously across multiple teams
