Microsoft Corporation Principal Program Manager, Healthcare Alliance in Boston, Massachusetts

Microsoft’s Healthcare Alliance team is looking for a Principal PM who loves to learn, solve challenges, and be a part of a team working to shape the future of healthcare technology at Microsoft. You've worked on complex, multi-disciplinary programs previously, and you're looking for a new adventure. You’re a tireless advocate for the customer and have a toolkit that spans a broad range of business and technology methodologies. You will be working with partners to build and iterate on future-looking solutions and applying your knowledge to create incredibly reliable, scalable and delightful healthcare experiences. You are equally comfortable collaborating with engineering leaders on technical challenges and partnering with business stakeholders within some of our most strategic healthcare customers. You find ways of effectively applying Microsoft’s products to customer problems and lead the build out of new capabilities when needed.

You’ll work in a multi-disciplinary team collaborating with large internal and external partners. You will be responsible for running internal and external workshops to define requirements, implementing agile processes to deliver on those requirements, and managing high level communication with both customers and teams around Microsoft.

Responsibilities

  • Drive scoping and delivery of Microsoft’s healthcare solutions with key payor and provider partners.

  • Understand and define requirements, IT and business priorities and success measures.

  • Maintain and advance deep technical skills and knowledge, keeping up to date with market trends and competitive insights, and share within the technical community.

  • Be a Voice of Customer to share insights and best practices, connect with Engineering team to remove key blockers.

  • Assess the Customers' knowledge of Azure platform and overall cloud readiness to support customers through a structured learning plan and ensure its delivery through partners.

  • Manage engineering commitments and effectively communicate gaps and timeline adjustments to stakeholders on a regular basis.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's in engineering, healthcare management, related field, or 7+ years of program or product management experience technology program or product management experience

  • 3+ years delivering or managing Healthcare technology programs

  • 3+ years of experience defining and implementing strategies within healthcare

Preferred:

  • 5+ years of experience implementing largescale healthcare technology programs.

  • 3+ years of experience building cloud systems on Azure, AWS or GCP

  • Deep understanding of product execution with applied hands-on experience delivering solutions involving multiple stakeholders and timeline dependencies

  • Proven track record of building deep relationships with senior leadership teams and software engineers

  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to new data technologies and learn quickly to enable migrating or transforming legacy solutions to cloud-based platform as a service.

  • Proven track record of driving decisions collaboratively, resolving conflicts and blockers with creative problem-solving and ensuring follow through with exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

  • High degree of comfort presenting to both large and small audiences (Senior Executives, IT management, Data Scientists and Developers).
