As part of Microsoft’s Cloud + AI Group, we are responsible for building, managing, and securing the platform, products, processes, and services that powers Microsoft. We build, maintain, and implement a cloud-first approach to our technology and experiences, from custom-built business solutions developing our campus of the future and our productivity and collaboration experiences like Teams and SharePoint, to horizontal 3rd party solutions like SAP and Adobe. As customer zero, we deploy these services inside Microsoft and then share best practices with enterprise customers at scale across the globe.

The Employee Experience team within Microsoft Digital is focused on reimagining the experience of our ownemployees. Wearetransforming and personalizing howemployeeswork and collaborate across physical and digital experiences.As we accelerate a fully hybrid workforce, we need to redefine a new operating model.

As Principal PM Manager you will lead the team that enables our vision of employee enablement through reimagined business workflowsand collaborative apps leveragingcitizen-led no-code/low-code appsusing Power Platform and Teams as our “OS for work”. Lead App and Power Platform ecosystem development and drive easy deployment experience for Teams app. Be the subject matter expert for the Power Platform technology and other productivity related apps to drive new feature implementation and provide feedback to Engineering. Lead Teams and Power Platform integration across Microsoft.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate leadership and exceptional cross-team collaboration skills

  • Drive Power Platform complex initiatives & issues with Engineering teams

  • Build and support large scale distributed systems and services for Employees

  • Createand drive a product vision, intake of new features, roadmap partnership with engineering teams, successful rollout of new features/functionalities and drive process improvements.

  • Lead App ecosystem development and drive easy deployment experience for Teams apps.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced dynamic environment with rapidly changing requirements

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of program management experience rolling out products/services

  • 3+ years of experience with Power Platform technical engagement

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong technical background and solid foundation in software or platform engineering principles

  • Proven experience in planning and executing on complex initiatives across engineering teams and other disciplines

  • Strong cross-team collaboration skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication

  • Teams apps experience

  • Manager experience in fast-paced environment

  • BA/BS or MS degree in computer science, engineering
