What you’ll be doing…

The Pricing Strategy Manager is responsible for defining, building and overseeing the success of monetization frameworks for Tableau and Tableau CRM in context of the Salesforce portfolio. This highly strategic role is instrumental in driving the future growth of the world’s leading analytics platform, as we expand products and services, optimize existing business models and launch new ones.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Drive packaging, pricing decisions and business model frameworks for new Tableau products, services and sales offerings globally

  • Conduct market research and surveys, seek customer and sales feedback to influence monetization decisions

  • Build business models and monetization strategies to optimize revenue growth, margin, customer acquisition, expansion and lifetime value.

  • Partner with Product Management. Product Marketing, and Revenue Operations teams to establish SKU strategy, pricing and packaging and optimize offerings over time.

  • Support Sales teams during the launch of new sales initiatives or products that involve pricing and packaging.

  • Analyze and evaluate pricing and policy changes requested by sales, customer operations, product and channel teams, and acquire approvals as warranted.

  • Monitor in market models from multiple internal and external sources to develop and complete pricing adjustments or policy changes.

Who you are...

Experience​ . 7+ years’ in enterprise SAAS pricing, business strategy, management consulting (or) equivalent work experience.

Educated. Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science or related degree. Masters, CFA or MBA a plus.

Excellent Communicator. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to understand complex concepts and communicate those concepts within all levels of the organization.

Data Driven and Analytical. Strong grasp of finance and accounting principles and a deep analytical background.

Influencer. Ability to partner, influence, and work effectively with all levels of an organization from product development to financing and licensing operations.

Self-Starter and Driven . Energy and enthusiasm with an infectious passion to take initiative and drive projects to completion.

Strong Teammate. Great teammate with ability to communicate and collaborate effectively across departments.

Multi-Tasker . Strong planning, execution and multitasking skills and ability to balance multiple projects at once.
