About the role:

As a member of Takeda Oncology, your work will contribute to our bold, inspiring vision: We aspire to cure cancer. As part of the Patient Access & Support team, you will report to Head of US Oncology patient Access & Support and partner with various commercial functions.

How you will contribute:

  • Develop patient message architecture and positioning statement.

  • Ensure alignment with overall brand strategy and Patient initiatives

  • Develop creative briefs/brand book; designs core consumer brand promotional assets (e.g., websites, education) and assure brand and MCM execution of messaging & strategy

  • Partner with Analytics to distill insight, validate business opportunities, optimize marketing mix for patient and monitor ROI of individual tactics

  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to design and implement patient experience support programs (education, adherence, beyond the pill)

  • Identify critical design elements for initiatives/ promotions designed to drive desired patient behavior change

  • Make strategic choices when prioritizing & commissioning tactics from hub; collaborates with Multi-Channel Marketing Partners to utilize best practices

  • Develop creative briefs for agency involvement, before shifting execution responsibilities to the Hub

  • Manage patient ad boards

  • Leverage brand insight to inform patient segmentation and channel mix preferences

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 3 plus years experience with increasing responsibilities in sales, marketing or related function

  • Experience with people management

  • Experience with the brand/franchise, the pharmaceutical industry, and how to effectively engage HCPs

  • Demonstrated ability to drive cross functional alignment and lead matrix teams.

  • Experience in marketing strategy and tactic design with an ability to communicate ideas to internal partners and external agencies, ability to clearly and succinctly communicate (verbally/written) at the executive level

  • Leverage data and analytics to distill insights and drive data-based decision making

  • Capable of stablished leadership traits with an ability to mentor junior team members, collaborate effectively, and positively influence decisions

  • MBA - preferred

  • Experience in marketing positions at a commercial pharmaceutical organization - preferred

Travel Requirements

  • Travel to internal and external meetings including overnights and weekends will be required, estimated up to 20% travel.
