Microsoft Corporation Partner Success Desk Lead in Boston, Massachusetts

Microsoft’s Global Digital Channel Sales team is looking for an individual with passion for helping our partners successfully increase their business and revenue potential. In this role you’ll be responsible for defining and landing the Partner Success Desk strategy that drives growth with scale-managed partners.

The Partner Success Desk is a global team of cloud development and marketing specialists that provide sales growth services to our prioritized partners within the scale-managed channel to identify business opportunity and accelerate business growth. The candidate for this critical role should demonstrate strong leadership skills and the ability to work effectively across teams to drive collaboration and alignment. We are seeking a business program manager who has a bias for action and business performance and the ability to motivate and lead people around them. This is an individual contributor role who embodies a growth mindset and promotes a diverse and inclusive team culture.

Responsibilities

The Partner Success Desk lead is responsible for:

  • Drives the Partner Success Desk strategy supporting priority scale-managed partners with the goal to grow the overall sales funneland revenue with focus in SMB with these partners.

  • Understand our competitive landscape, market trends and products to ensure that we enable best in class partners through desk services.

  • Engages with service delivery vendor leads for readiness to support new program launches, changes to business rules, processes, and tools

  • Recommends solutions to process failings, contribute to process and organizational problem-solving

  • Creative agency oversight to develop digital marketing assets to support desk initiatives, ensuring a high-quality bar in creative and messaging.

  • Work hand-in-hand with Campaign Leads, Marketing Operations and Analytics teams to support digital campaigns that introduce desk services at the right time of the partners lifecycle.

  • Work with solution area campaign leads to land and integrate solution messaging and sales play market opportunites into desk services with our priority scale-managed partners

  • Develop reporting capabilities to track weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual growth with partners engaged in the desk services.

  • Deliver revenue results and performance insights through workstreams and formal business reviews.

  • Drive continuous optimization of desk services offerings as measured by partners that have leveraged the services and their revenue, pipeline, consumption, usage and partner impact.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years experience program management of tele sales, partner sales or business development defining outcomes and driving performance results.

  • 3+ years experience working within distributed, global proactive support/sales services.

  • 3+ years experience in vendor and operations management

  • Deep understanding of digital transformation business drivers, cloud platforms, capabilities and solutions that generate partner growth and innovation.

  • Understanding of the channel partners landscapeand the market opportunity. Knowledge of services partners, independent software vendors, and SMB partner business focus a plus.

  • Leadership/Communication skills are important to act as influencer/orchestrator helping align Microsoft and partner resources to drive solutions that support customer needs.

  • Experience working with and driving requirements for CRM/CX solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Dynamics 365 a plus.

  • Experience in field or corporate/B2B marketing and digital sales practices.

  • Experience working with connected breadth sales & marketing engines.

  • Experience delivering insights, representing business results in executive reviews.

  • Experience developing requirements for data modeling and reporting

  • Demonstrated adaptability, effective collaboration skills, customer obsession, drive for results, key insights that link marketing execution to business outcomes, and ability to learn/share the value proposition of Microsoft solutions.

  • Curiosity and eagerness to learn. Creative, open minded, driven, pragmatic, and easy to work with. Good track record of strong relationships with sales teams and partners.High comfort level operating in a very fast paced entrepreneurial type environment. Ease of adapting to changes and driving business results

  • Ability to provide examples of work upon request

The salary for this role in the state of Colorado is between $121,268 and $156,400.
