2020 On-site Partner Channel Sales in Boston, Massachusetts

2020 On-site is the leader in mobile vision care. Since 2014, our Mobile Vision Clinics have provided eye care to over 75,000 patients at their workplaces, schools, and neighborhoods. In May 2020, we expanded our services to provide vital access to clinical trial assessments and tests, bringing uniquely equipped Mobile Clinics directly to participants. Description of Role:

You will be responsible for building new and maintaining existing relationships with our partners. The partnership portfolio consists of CROs, Site Networks, and any forthcoming channels uncovered by industry exploration. Through proactive, diligent relationship building and pipeline development, this person will build strategic relationships that produce repeatable and scalable business agreements with each partner. 



High Level:

  • Use or develop knowledge and expertise about the company and partners segments, to be a subject matter expert

  • Build upon existing partner strategy, process, and success metrics 

  • Own the entire partner sales and account management process, sales targets, tactics and strategies

  • Collaborate with marketing, operations, and the delivery team, to facilitate new programs, messages, campaigns, and offerings

  • Understand the competition in target markets and monitor competitive activities

  • Attend events and conferences as a representative of the company upholding and further building the company brand

    Day to Day:

  • Search for, recruit, retain and develop new channel partners in order to grow business

  • Effectively onboard new partners by educating them on 2020 Onsite Life Sciences solutions and best-fit use cases 

  • Ensure that the partner sales pipeline remains full of qualified leads and prospects by continuously developing business opportunities with potential and existing partners

  • Understand customer study requirements and work with partners and customers to align solutions

  • Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate partner for further development, and work as a partner to discover, scope, price, and close business opportunities.

  • Maintain KPIs by monitoring sales performance and statistical reports

  • Ensure that accurate and complete information is captured in the customer relationship management (CRM) system

  • Contribute to the overall effectiveness of the team

  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 30%

    requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and ability required.



  • Life sciences, clinical trials, ophthalmology 

  • Experience developing and managing a partner network, including partner marketing and co-selling

  • Track record of successfully working as a trusted partner independently and as part of a team to achieve results

  • 5-7 years in a business-to-business sales role selling to a variety of roles from C-Level to project management. 

  • Must be self-disciplined and able to be productive with primarily remote management contact.

    Foundational Skills and Core Competencies:

  • BA or BS required

  • Proven sales pipeline development experience

  • Excellent communication, writing and organizational skills required

  • Microsoft suite

  • Salesforce or other relevant CRM proficiency

  • Presentation and public speaking

  • Ability to manage a pipeline with multiple accounts and partners.

  • Ability to work in a team environment.

  • Listening, creative thinker, decision-making acumen, problem solver, takes responsibility, demonstrates personal integrity & and honesty.

  • Comfort with ambiguity, and complex “white space” environments

  • Customer / Client service orientation.

  • Driven to meet or exceed customer expectations.

    Preferred Qualifications:

  • Looks to use technology to build efficiencies

  • Demonstrated evidence of having worked with a diverse range of senior-level stakeholders (e.g., Board, C-level executives, non-profit leaders)

    Desirable experience:

  • Knowledge of clinical trials and drug development 

  • Experience in healthcare of biopharma

  • Partner channel sales experience
