Assessing, diagnosing, treating, and referring our pediatric/adolescent patient population.
Providing both urgent care and well visit care with a focus on patients age 10 years-22 years of age.
This position has a focus on adolescent health care including but not limited to reproductive endocrine health conditions, family planning consultation, and general adolescent medical consultation.
Collaborating with multidisciplinary members of the health care team to design and implement evidence-based care.
Developing and recommending standards, policies, and procedures of patient care.
Participating in hospital, departmental and multidisciplinary programs, committees, and special projects.
Working 20 hours per week: either 2 or 3 days per week including all day on Fridays plus another 1 or 2 days rotating Monday through Thursday. (Flexibility for potential cross coverage needed for a weekend rotation monthly to the primary care clinic on the Longwood main campus.)
To qualify you must have:
A masters degree in nursing
A current MA NP license, either a FNP or PNP
3-5 years NP experience in pediatric primary care preferred
Interest and experience working with an adolescent population preferred
Bilingual skills a plus
