The opportunity

The College COACH summer internship is a paid program running from Monday, June 9-Friday, August 8, 2025. In addition to on-the-job training and work experience, the program includes workshops and additional development programs. College students will work 35 hours/week.

The intern would be working with the Neurosurgery department. We have administrative offices in Hunnewell and our clinical space on Fegan 9.

What you’ll do

  • This intern would be working with the whole department learning the administrative tasks that our PER, and Program Coordinator roles perform.

  • Once a full understanding of the basic administrative duties is achieved, the goal would be to have this intern work closely with our Brain Tumor Center team.

  • This position is fully onsite

What you’ll get

  • By the end of the internship, the intern should be comfortable with Epic, and well-versed in the workflows of Neurosurgery.

  • They should have learned the basics of workplace etiquette, how to be part of a workforce team, and the importance of customer service.

Who you are

  • You are an undergraduate college student interested working in healthcare

  • A willingness to learn

  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft office and the desire to be part of a team.

  • Internship opportunities: We aim to have all summer internship opportunities posted by February 28. They will be posted on a rolling basis as managers determine their availability to host an intern.

  • Onboarding: Those selected for the internship program will complete onboarding by May to ensure a smooth start to the program.
