Oracle National Security Marketing - Business development in Boston, Massachusetts

Job Description

We’re looking for an energetic and versatile field marketer for the Oracle National Security Group. In this role, you will lead our digital and social media strategy, as well as plan and execute a variety of third party and Oracle events. We are looking for a self-starter that can manage the full marketing program lifecycle, from planning and budgeting to execution and ROI reporting and analysis. Previous experience in national security or federal marketing, communications, or sales strongly preferred. The ideal candidate is an independent self-starter, leader, and excellent team player who can operate in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.

In this dynamic role, you will plan, execute, and measure demand generation marketing programs to grow sales pipeline and revenue for the Oracle National Security Group sales team. You will work with a sales, business development, technical and domain experts create programs that drive awareness, engagement, and adoption of cloud technology.

Oversees the development of strategic market/product line business plans and marketing programs to support sales in designated market segments. Engages in many areas of business development to include strategy, programs, demand generation, building pipeline, increasing deal size, and account planning. Analyzes market data to identify trends/opportunities and develops strategic direction from market information. Identifies volume and strategic customers.

  • Create and execute marketing plans. Devise integrated plans that advance business goals on key programs. Track lead flow to ensure the appropriate Sales channels are following up with event attendees and campaign responders in a timely manner.

  • Create key messages and editorial calendars for campaigns. Write posts and web copy, and work with the corporate marketing team to create graphics, imagery, and video for publication. Measure the outcomes of campaigns and lead continuous, data-driven improvement.

  • Create and manage content calendar. Collaborate with domain experts to create and maintain a library of re-usable content. Enforce editorial and branding style guidelines. Measure content effectiveness and usage.

  • Plan and execute events. Plan and execute trade show sponsorships and Oracle events. Develop budget, coordinate logistics, negotiate and contract with vendors and suppliers, build awareness before, during, and after events, report on ROI.

  • Maintain internal and external websites. Evaluate current sites, make enhancements, create plan to continually update content and engage stakeholders. Measure usage and drive to increase traffic and engagement.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated location(s)

California Pay Range: from $134,900 to $270,000 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.

Colorado Pay Range: from $127,400 to $243,000 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

New York City Pay Range: from $127,400 to $256,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.

Washington Pay Range: from $142,400 to $256,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience and market conditions, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
