What will you do?
The primary purpose of the Marketing Performance Manager is to deliver marketing processes and technologies governance that will allow the MSD (Materials and Structural Analysis) marketing teams to focus on delivering value. This role will ensure that marketing data flows in an effective manner resulting in an efficient and impactful marketing planning and analytics framework.
The Marketing Performance Manager leads a team that supports marketing ROI, sales enablement, leads management, and marketing analytics. Additionally, this role will work across functions to align with owners of project management, content management and marketing automation tools to maximize data health and integration. These efforts will drive efficient collection and processing of marketing qualified leads - leading to a higher conversion rate of sales qualified opportunities.
This role reports to the Senior Manager of Marketing Planning and Analytics and will lead a team of leads management and marketing analytics specialists. This team works directly with business unit market development managers, sales representatives, sales operations and information technology teams to tailor processes as needed while maximizing process alignment across the division. Also under the scope of this team is the development and maintenance of marketing analytics dashboards for a variety of stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Develop, implement and maintain effective and scalable marketing processes
Research and recommend new marketing technologies
Own the integration between marketing automation, CRM and other solutions in the marketing tech stack to ensure a seamless experience for customers moving from one stage of the customer value journey to another
Manage lead flow and data processes including lead capture, data enrichment and cleansing to increase commercial opportunities through lead generation between the CRM and marketing automation platforms
Own the marketing database management strategy that ensures data quality, supports audience segmentation and data hygiene
Establish KPIs and design and maintain marketing performance and campaign-specific dashboards and reporting to support decision-making
Train and support marketing staff on martech solutions
Perform data privacy, compliance and security reviews where required
Collaborate with Market Development Managers and digital marketing experts to optimize the reporting of marketing campaign effectiveness through KPI management
Draw insights from marketing data and share recommendations with the BU market development teams.
Own marketing performance reporting at the division level
Drive functional best practices as well as innovative thinking through practical process improvement
Mentor Marketing Analytics Specialists in ability to provide the right data and analysis to make campaign optimization decisions
Display strong time management and organizational skills to drive project timelines and remain within budgetary requirements
How will you get there?
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree required or equivalent experience in related field; Master's preferred
Experience:
7+ years of marketing leads and analytics management
2+ years leading a team
Exceptional organizational skills, including the ability to effectively prioritize
Strong experience in digital marketing operations
Experience collaborating with agencies
Experience within a B2B marketing environment. Scientific instruments industry experience preferred.

Expert in marketing analytics reporting and data visualization

Excellent project management skills with experience using project management software
