The Marketing team drives the vision for consumer engagement focusing on physical touchpoints, brand, and communications, while informing plan products, digital experiences, and clinical services.The Edge Marketing Strategy & Transformation Professional will help shape the in-person experience of our members, with a focus on connecting our members to one another, to their impact and purpose in the world, and to a care team and digital tools that support overall health and well-being. The ideal candidate will be a curious self-starter who can work in a rapidly changing industry, will tolerate ambiguity and will demonstrate problem-solving with limited oversight. In order to be successful in this position, you would need (or be able to quickly develop) a general understanding of how health insurance and health programming work. You will work cross-functionally, with an ability to influence, while demonstrating maturity and objectiveness.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Support key work streams associated with in-market community presence, including:

  • Collaborate with other internal business units and 3rd party vendors to accelerate potential social determinant of health initiatives into pilot(s) or test & learn arrangements

  • Support team with analytics of in-market activity, share learnings, and identify opportunities where we can influence member behavior

  • Use an iterative process to create new initiatives to support market goals, identify key metrics, implement, measure and pivot, continue or expand

  • Manage our master project plan for consumer engagement team, monitoring of performance against plan and communicating with other PMs across the marketing team (ie Consumer Insights, Brand, and Communications)

  • Support leadership in exploration and development of partnership and other opportunities to experiment with non-traditional sites for senior-focused engagement

  • Research potential partners

  • Assist developing presentations to pursue partnerships and other deals, such as start development of community relationships

  • Work with internal project management teams to develop plans and launch collaborative initiatives

Role reports to Experience Strategy & Transformation Lead, Edge Marketing.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or related field is highly desired; demonstrated and applicable equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of a degree

  • 2+ years of professional experience in a large company, nonprofit, or startup

  • 1+ years of experience developing consumer engagement campaigns

  • Deep-sense of curiosity about marketing, technology, health insurance, and analytics

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or MBA

  • 3-5 years of healthcare experience in either marketing or consumer engagement

  • Strong, demonstrated organizational and interpersonal skills

  • Experience optimizing initiatives by leveraging analytics, conducting tests, and applying insights to improve performance

  • Demonstrated ability simultaneously manage and/or oversee multiple high-priority initiatives designed to meet short and long-term business goals

  • Understanding of program metrics and measurement.

  • Ability to engage, educate, influence and guide others at all levels to achieve company growth/retention goals

  • Located in Louisville or Boston
