Philips Marketing, Senior Digital Strategy Manager (Northeast) in Boston, Massachusetts

Your role as Senior Digital Strategy Manager is to work with marketing stakeholders across North America and our Health System portfolio of businesses to intake marketing campaign needs and develop a prioritized set of programs to meet audience needs across the end-to-end customer decision journey. You will work integrally across our North America marketing functions including Strategy and Engagement, Brand & Communications, and Digital Marketing & eCommerce to brief teams for successful program development and deliver to program goals. You will also play a key role in effectively managing team resources and budgets to maximize value realization as well as contribute to marketing growth plans.


  • Partner with a group of marketing leadership stakeholders across our full Health Systems portfolio to identify and establish campaign programs to support our North American audiences along their entire decision journey

  • Decide campaign program priorities to support audience needs and market objectives across a breadth of online and offline channels

  • Work closely with North America marketing functions and especially in-depth with our digital team and in-house digital agency (‘Digital Hub’) to develop and execute programs to meet requirements and performance objectives

  • Enable decisions to maximize value realization through partnering with the analytics team to develop performance KPIs/dashboards and integrate with marketing activation teams to drive a regular review of program performance vs. goal and identify improvement actions

  • Contribute ideas and recommendations to marketing plans to drive higher value and impact of resources through program performance insights and market and audience insights

  • Engage marketing teams to develop and launch pilot programs to uncover new opportunities to unlock growth


  • Experience developing marketing program plans inclusive of offline and online marketing channels to support an audience journey from awareness through consideration, conversion, and post-purchase/loyalty

  • Digital marketing experience a must, including developing omni-channel digital marketing strategies and plans and successfully executing on those plans either directly or via close collaboration with agency support

  • Demonstrated ability to manage an indirect team to drive toward marketing program success objectives with an emphasis on digital channels

  • Understanding of how to gather insights from program performance data and develop recommendations to drive measurable improvement in results

  • Experience drawing on market and audience insights to structure pilot programs to test and uncover new growth opportunities

  • Ability to manage a complex and diverse set of stakeholders, across functions and geographies and to act as a liaison to marketing leadership

  • Exceptional project management skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Demonstrated success delivering projects on time and within budget

  • High attention to detail and problem solving skills

  • A hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves, can-do attitude


  • 7+ years of experience in marketing/digital marketing/marketing communications/marketing operations or similar

  • Bachelor’s degree. Preferably Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or related fields.

  • Healthcare technology marketing experience a plus
