JOB SUMMARY

Work with APEX7 & Decarbonization Senior Managing Directors to execute a comprehensive marketing strategy for the APEX (Asset Performance & Energy Excellence) team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Help CBRE build a differentiated FM offering through the development of exciting new service offerings in Renewable Energy and Asset Performance.

Own the strategy and execution of Asset Performance and Energy Excellence marketing efforts in partnership with pursuit excellence, division leadership and account teams. Ensure alignment to APEX business objectives. Maintain pursuit intake, schedules and delegate activities as necessary to ensure timely completion of deliverables.

Manage workflow of inside and outside resources including events, digital/web, writers and designers; manage external advertising/vendor relationships as needed to craft compelling messages across marketing channels (case studies, sales sheets, advertising, landing pages, email, social media, event collateral) to drive traffic, engagement and leads.

Review deliverables for compliance, grammar and ensure content is consistent with our brand voice, style and tone. Manage key stakeholder relationships across the organization, ensuring needs are met.

Own and manage physical marketing material library for APEX7 and Decarbonization Technology products.

Maintain deep understanding of APEX product offering, audience segments, market dynamics and competitive landscape.

Develop value proposition and key messaging for APEX products and services.

Coordinate with other national and local marketing professionals to develop and share best practices within and across CBRE.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Provides formal supervision to individual employees within single functional or operational area. Approves subordinate's recommendations for staff recruitment, selection, promotion, advancement, corrective action and termination. Effectively recommends same for direct reports to next level management for review and approval. Plans and monitors appropriate staffing levels and utilization of labor, including overtime. Prepares and delivers performance appraisal for staff. Mentors and coaches team members to further develop competencies. Leads by example and models behaviors that are consistent with the company's values.

QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite

High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint

Excellent project management and verbal and written communication skills

Familiarity with product marketing tactics (e.g. integrated marketing campaigns)

Ability to write clearly, concisely and effectively with business acumen across a variety of marketing channels

Ability to function in a team setting and take direction from colleagues; comfortable working with both in-person as well as remote team members

Ability to independently assess problems and implement solution

Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and deadline

Ability to think creatively while adhering to corporate guidelines

Working knowledge of Google Analytics

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree and at least five years of professional experience, commercial real estate preferred

Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret the most complex business documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive issues. Ability to write reports, manuals, speeches and articles using distinctive style. Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics to employees, clients, top management and/or public groups. Ability to motivate and negotiate effectively with key employees, top management, and client groups to take desired action.

FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE

Requires intermediate knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate complex figures. Ability to forecast and prepare budgets. Conducts financial/business analysis including the preparation of reports.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to solve advanced problems and deal with a variety of options in complex situations. Requires expert level analytical and quantitative skills with proven experience in developing strategic solutions for a growing matrix-based multi-industry sales environment. Draws upon the analysis of others and makes recommendations that have a direct impact on the company.

OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES

Requires knowledge of all software used by personnel in the department

Errors in judgment may cause long-term impact to co-workers, supervisor, department and/or line of business.
