II. About the Role
Part of our global Marketing & Program Development (MPD) team, you’ll partner with each of OFD’s sales regions to craft and and deliver marketing initiatives across various Lines of Business (LOBs) within Oracle, as well as externally to Oracle partners and customers. You’ll help plan and execute sales enablement programs through a comprehensive marketing mix that includes integrated campaigns, communications, collateral and sales tools, web and digital social media activities, events and other marketing and business development initiatives. The writing you’ll do will require advanced native-level proficiency in business English (lexicon, grammar, syntax, style, editorial ability, etc.) with ability to tailor and target voice – clearly and succinctly – to audience needs for desired impact. It should be close to copy-ready on the first pass.
Your hands-on graphic design, illustration, and layout skills will be important for continuing to build OFD’s unique brand within the broader Oracle design language’s guidelines and requirements. You’ll also need the core creative eye required to turn somebody else’s ideas into images and graphics.
Technical literacy is important, as you’ll be utilizing a range of platforms across Web, collaboration tools, email clients, mar-tech systems and more. Having the basic skills to navigate new platforms and capabilities will be key in executing against plans.
As an OFD Cross-Border Marketing Manager, you’re a skilled utility player with experience in content marketing; digital; social; brand; campaigns demand gen; and more. You tell clear, concise, compelling stories through messaging that evolves the OFD brand and think constantly about how the optimal channel mix can best position our value in resonant ways with our diverse stakeholders.
Your demonstrable business maturity and operational intelligence show clearly when interacting with different functional areas and earn you the credibility to sit at the table. You’re the consummate team player – upward, downward, and sideways – and can diplomatically interact with all kinds of people across a broad range of cultures. You’re change-agile, someone who takes and gives feedback graciously and always seeks to learn, improve, and deliver. You’’ll draw from a solid event management portfolio – both in-person in anticipation of an eventual resumption and virtual from the past 8 months of remote work. Whether it’s a Zoom seminar, a thought-leadership lecture, an in-person conference booth, or a virtual co-marketing opportunity, you bring your A-game every time.

What You’ll Do
Work as part of the global MPD team to execute, manage, and monitor a range of integrated marketing initiatives that reinforce the OFD value proposition worldwide. For example, you’ll:
Develop and manage targeted internal and external sales plays and awareness campaigns
Develop and execute programmatic marketing campaigns focused on demand generation
Create and distribute collateral like articles, infographics, presentations, videos, digital content
Create, publish, and maintain regional win stories for both internal and external audiences
Foster engagement via web, blogs, newsletters, email, talking-points, and presentation content
Work across divisions and LOBs to identify and capitalize on co-marketing opportunities
Develop, create and manage content for industry recognition and awards, as appropriate
Own sales and marketing events or webinars, from content creation to logistics and execution
Support regional bus-dev initiatives, including targeted integration with select Oracle sales plays
Lead digital marketing and coordinate thought leadership activities across multiple channels
Track trends and develop fresh ideas to help improve engagement with all audiences
Enhance awareness and ensure consistent application of OFD branding and value messaging
Participate on relevant internal project teams and initiatives that enhance OFD capabilities
Ensure all materials consistently reflect and uphold Oracle brand standards and OFD guidelines
Provide support for Oracle or sponsored events (e.g., Oracle OpenWorld, MBX, SuiteWorld) as apropos
Demonstrable expertise and record of results across multiple marketing disciplines

Creative thought leadership in developing/using best practices, while simplifying the complex
Strong productivity software skills, primarily MS Office (Excel, Power point, Word) and HTML
BA/BS in business, marketing, comms, or related field with 8 years of progressive marketing (corporate or agency), sales, or communications experience in high-tech B2B contexts
Knowledge of Oracle’s portfolio and strategy and the financial services industry are a plus, as is quota-bearing sales experience (or working in a business partner context with sales leaders)
Quota-bearing technology industry sales experience (products / services / cloud)
Ability to travel several times throughout the year (up to 20%) when global conditions permit
Role may require a mix of remote and office-based presense, depending upon corporate guidance
Detailed Description and Job Requirements
Development of communication programs to promote Oracle's products & services.
Integrate advertising into the marketing campaigns, exercising judgment and business acumen in selecting methods and techniques for best practice / creative solution. As a recognized authority and leading contributor maintain regular interface between the division and Corporate. Plan and manage pan-geography corporate and local campaign media plans. Plan, manage and implement corporate and local campaign advertising creative. Manage tier 2 local advertising and arrange sign off with Corporate. Integrate all advertising across the communications mix. Maintain and communicate brand advertising guidelines. Oversee partner advertising. Develop and manage brand communications audit. Measure advertising effectiveness.
Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. 8 years relevant work experience. A proven track record in advertising across line-of-business and/or geography as an account manager, with experience of creative production and media buying.
"Colorado Pay Range: From $88,737 to $159,727 per annum
