We’re seeking a business development marketing manager who performs at an intermediate-to-advanced level, project managing, writing/editing/proofing and coordinating design/production of proposals, presentations and collateral material for Capital Markets business development (national role supporting all U.S. markets).


Responsible for managing the proposal/presentation process from start to finish—facilitating kickoff and strategy sessions with pursuit teams, setting project timelines, writing/editing content, collaborating with designers, proofing/soliciting feedback and approvals on draft materials and ensuring timely delivery according to client deadlines.

Engages with subject matter experts to assist in developing messaging pursuant to our win strategy.

Leverages internal knowledge management platform to obtain/share and incorporate relevant data, statistics and other information to support pursuit strategy.

Reviews materials and proofreads content with keen attention to detail, ensuring quality control and soliciting feedback/approvals from stakeholders to finalize deliverables on schedule.

Collaborates with marketing peers, sales professionals, support resources and senior leadership on implementation of business development strategy, best practices and processes.

Develops strong working relationships with stakeholders in Marketing and Capital Markets.

Provides excellent customer service, including responding promptly to stakeholder requests, meeting commitments, and delivering against client-driven deadlines.

Other duties may be assigned.


No direct supervisory responsibilities.


Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university and a minimum of five years of related experience and/or training.

Communication Skills

Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret the most complex business documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive issues. Ability to write reports, manuals, speeches and articles using distinctive style. Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics to employees, clients, top management and/or public groups. Ability to motivate and negotiate effectively with key employees, top management, and client groups to take desired action.

Financial Knowledge

Requires intermediate knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate complex figures. Ability to forecast and prepare budgets. Conducts financial/business analysis including the preparation of reports.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to solve advanced problems and deal with a variety of options in complex situations. Requires expert level analytical and quantitative skills with proven experience in developing strategic solutions for a growing matrix-based multi-industry sales environment. Draws upon the analysis of others and makes recommendations that have a direct impact on the company.

Requires knowledge of all software used by personnel in the department
