American Express Global Business Travel Marketing Manager, Air Content & Distribution in Boston, Massachusetts
The Global Supplier Partnerships (GSP) marketing team is looking for an enthusiastic, upbeat, and driven Air Content & Distribution Marketing Manager to join the team. This role will manage all marketing efforts associated with the organization’s air content and distribution strategy, engaging clients, prospects, suppliers, partners, and the industry overall. More specifically, marketing activity will focus on GBT’s strategic position with NDC (New Distribution Capability), which is a travel industry-supported program for the development and market adoption of a new XML based data transmission standard.
The Air Content & Distribution Marketing Manager role will be responsible for clearly articulating GBT’s distribution strategy and educating audiences across the industry. This is a great opportunity to take the lead on all marketing efforts associated with this new strategic area of the business and truly build a marketing program from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities:
Developing an air content and distribution marketing strategy and plan, working closely with the Distribution Team’s leadership, while considering needs/wants and value prop for target audiences and segments.
Developing thought leadership and relevant articles, staying ahead of key trends and topics, and responding to industry news.
Building marketing collateral and assets for the client management and sales teams including presentations, factsheets, case studies, video scripts/storyboards, etc.
Supporting the web team with landing page creation and ongoing updates.
Working with internal and external stakeholders to ensure distribution-related marketing opportunities are realized.
Engaging audiences with various marketing tactics including webinars, email campaigns, etc.
Managing multiple marketing initiatives at once and sharing regular updates and progress.
Working closely with internal and external graphic designers to communicate the vision of each asset, while adhering to our brand and visual identify guidelines.
Managing the end-to-end marketing material compliance review process for assets.
Key Qualifications and Attributes:
5+ years of experience in B2B marketing roles
Travel industry experience preferred
Familiarity with emerging travel distribution technologies and channels
Experience with building marketing strategies, project management, and content creation
Driven, high-energy, and enthusiastic to get the job done
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Multitasker who can confidently handle multiple projects simultaneously and under deadlines
Entrepreneurial spirit, owner mindset, attention to detail, customer-focused, and creativity in problem-solving and trouble-shooting
Comfortable learning new skills and processes – ability to adapt and thrive
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Agile and flexible with regards to changing priorities and business needs
