Marketing Lead Generation Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated Lead Generation Specialist to spearhead the establishment of lead generation efforts within our marketing department. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in setting up marketing automation software, developing and executing lead email nurture campaigns, creating lead magnets, and establishing best practices for lead generation processes. Collaboration with the sales team will be essential to define handoffs, lead scoring, and implement effective sales enablement strategies. The successful candidate will be instrumental in creating and executing a leadership reporting system to measure and optimize lead generation performance. Experience in event and trade show lead generation is crucial for this role, ensuring a comprehensive approach to attracting and engaging potential customers at various events and trade shows.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Set up lead generation efforts for the marketing department.

  • Implement marketing automation software and ensure its effective utilization.

  • Develop and execute lead email nurture campaigns.

  • Establish lead generation processes and best practices, particularly for events and tradeshows.

  • Collaborate with sales to define lead handoffs, lead scoring, and sales enablement strategies.

  • Create compelling lead magnets to attract and engage potential customers.

  • Implement and manage a leadership reporting system for tracking lead generation performance.

  • Understand and display WLT-s values.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

Skills:

  • Proficient in marketing automation software (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar).

  • Strong understanding of lead generation strategies and best practices.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and optimize campaigns.

  • Creativity in developing effective lead magnets.

  • Familiarity with CRM systems and their integration with marketing tools.

  • Event lead generation experience.

  • Deep intellectual curiosity, eager to learn, skilled at connecting disparate ideas into a coherent whole.

  • Data-driven and comfortable with metrics and spreadsheets.

  • Superior communication, leadership, and teamworking skills.

Education or Certification:

  • BA/BS in Media, Marketing, Business, or a related field

Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years proven experience in successfully setting up lead generation efforts.

  • Minimum of 5 years hands-on experience with marketing automation software.

  • Previous involvement and demonstrated success collaborating with sales teams.

  • Demonstrated success in creating and executing lead email nurture campaigns.

  • Experience in developing and implementing lead generation processes and best practices.

  • Experience using frameworks like OKRs, KPIs, RACI, SMART, and SWOT for decision making and goal setting is a plus.

  • Performance marketing experience in EdTech and/or with SaaS products is a huge plus.

Wilson has identified the anticipated pay range for this role based on the many factors that we consider in defining compensation levels for our roles, including market data, and internal equity considerations. Actual pay, and allocation between base and any target discretionary bonus, will vary based on geographic location, education, work experience, skills, market data, and internal equity considerations. Wilson has identified the anticipated pay range for this role based on the many factors that we consider in defining compensation levels for our roles, including market data, and internal equity considerations. Actual pay, and allocation between base and any target discretionary bonus, will vary based on geographic location, education, work experience, skills, market data, and internal equity considerations. Anticipated Salary range: $55,000 - $90,000.
