Marketing Coordinator - Traveler Communications

Job Summary

This role will support the client's corporate travel program through internal marketing communications and the administration of key travel program initiatives. In addition to leading the travel program's internal marketing, communications and social media messaging, you will conduct sourcing and RFP activities for the global hotel program and assist with other aspects of the travel program.

Traveler Communication

*Communicate travel initiatives, travel category results, updates to program or industry to internal team though social media and other marketing/communications channels

*Serve as point of contact for travelers to resolve issues and inquiries

*Develop traveler education content and information to communicate throughout organization

Customer Service

*Serve as liaison among client, travelers, and suppliers by listening, problem solving, and communicating both verbally and written

Support client travel program

*Identify travel program goals and work with travel manager to outline strategies to achieve objectives

*Create and carry out action plans to implement travel program objectives

*Reviewing accounts: Plan and execute business reviews and act on short-falls


*Experience managing and creating internal marketing/communications and social media programs

*Travel or hospitality industry experience (Corporate travel or Hotel preferred)

*Customer service experience -- handling client inquires and providing guidance or solutions

*Effective communication skills (oral, written & presentation)

*Experience with Hotel RFP negotiations (preferred)

*Familiarity with one or more GDS systems (Sabre, Apollo, etc... (Preferred)
