The Content Experience Team is looking for a manager to lead the CRM Infrastructure content team—we are an exciting group of writers who work with developers, service owners, product managers, and other Technology leaders to create strategic and high-impact content for some of our highest priority areas. You're an excellent match if you are a self-directed problem solver, an excellent communicator, and an effective leader of geographically varied teams.

Responsibilities: Lead the CRM Infrastructure team of hardworking writers to create high-quality content that helps our Technology customers join the Salesforce Availability transformation.

Content results include:

  • ​Service documentation, runbooks, playbooks, alert documentation for Salesforce infrastructure

  • Technical documentation for developers and service owners

  • Confluence spaces

  • Blogs, articles, and case studies

  • Trailhead content

  • Technical communications

You'll be:

  • Inspiring, coaching, mentoring, and providing professional development for a team of writers

  • Partnering with other cross-functional managers to ensure the success of your product areas

  • Leading or advising on efforts to improve our results, processes, or other initiatives

  • Recruiting, hiring, and on-boarding new writers as the team grows

  • Working with the overall Content Experience leadership team to resolve direction and priorities for the team

Required Skills:

  • 2+ years management experience

  • 6+ years of demonstrated ability in technical writing

  • Strong project management skills and decision-making ability

  • Experience documenting monitoring technologies, web services, or enterprise-class client/service software

  • This candidate must be a U.S. citizen (U.S. born or naturalized) who does not hold dual citizenship.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with Confluence

  • Experience authoring task-based, Jobs-to-be-Done content

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or communications field or equivalent work experience
