Manager – B2B Supplier, Value Proposition & Lead Identification

B2B Growth & Enablement, Supplier Management is a newly created team in the Global and U.S. Large Enterprises (G&L) organization within Global Commercial Services (GCS).

The Manager, B2B Supplier, Value Proposition & Lead Identification is a highly strategic position that will work in close partnership with G&L Client Management and Business Development to drive profitable growth and deliver incremental value to buyers and suppliers through the AXP integrated network.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop differentiated buyer/supplier value propositions using data driven insights and knowledge of the end-to-end payments value chain

  • Create campaign phase prioritization to accelerate the onboarding of best fit suppliers

  • Support quality lead identification through G&S lifecycle

  • Tactical enablement support for field teams

  • Buyer consultations to align program objectives with leading practices

  • Demonstrate thought leadership by consistently prioritizing profitable value driven opportunities

  • Spearhead a variety of enterprise-wide value creation initiatives with an objective to optimize deployment of capital for Suppliers and Buyers.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure campaign strategies are streamlined, innovative, profitable, and focused on differentiated value.

  • Provide visibility and insight on supplier attrition and retention risks

If you have completed your primary vaccine series but have not yet reached your booster eligibility date, you will be able to come into the office; however, you will need to complete your booster within 30 days of becoming eligible to continue coming in and participating in company-sponsored in-person events.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the G&S Business Development, Client Management or GMNS space focused on value driven Buyer / Supplier relationship growth

  • Demonstrated success building cross-functional partnerships in complex environments, with the ability draw key conclusions and make recommendations that impact the business.

  • Consultative approach and experience in developing and delivering senior level communications, leveraging data and insights to help drive behavior change.

  • Proven ability to utilize external perspective of the competitive landscape and benchmarking to provide differentiated value to both buyers and suppliers.

  • Engage, influence, and inspire partners and stakeholders to drive business transformation to enhance performance.
