Facebook is looking for a Manager, Strategic Programs to join our Strategy & Transformation team that drives Recruiting transformation solutions from strategy to execution at the intersection of people, process & technology. We build and scale global programs to strengthen the impact of our world-class Recruiting Team. Recruiting is a core strategic driver of Facebook's success. This role is pivotal to delivering our vision of transforming the way we hire great builders for Facebook's future. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a team of Program Managers that deliver on multiple programs across Recruiting business. You will play a key role in shaping the strategy and alignment over a group of programs for Recruiting alongside key partners and stakeholders. Plugging into the Recruiting organization’s multi-year vision, your team will scale and deliver existing programs, while also identifying and standing up new programs. The ideal candidate will excel at working collaboratively with executives and colleagues alike and consistently deliver high-quality work even under time constraints with competing priorities.
Manage a team of Program Managers that are responsible for a group of strategic programs that have a direct measurable impact on Recruiting, through technical process, product and operational solutions.
Partner with Recruiting Leadership and cross-functional stakeholders across Product, Engineering and Legal to ensure alignment between the programs and business strategies.
Optimize the capacity of Program Managers in their defined program areas through effective prioritization & agile/flexible allocation.
Drive strategic planning and OKR efforts in partnership with the other strategic program leads to develop an integrated roadmap across product, process, program solutions.
Build a coherent strategy, vision and roadmap for the respective domain, establish shared goals & work with cross-functional partners & leaders across the organization to drive alignment.
Facilitate the strategic alignment and information flow at the domain level with stakeholders and cross-functional partners involved.
Build strategic relationships with global & cross-functional partners to drive improvements to the overarching program strategy.
Proactively identify the important problems in support of company goals and create strategies/solutions within the broader program.
10+ years experience in Program Management and/or Consulting.
2+ years experience in people management.
Experience establishing programs, leading them end-to-end while scaling for growth in highly matrixed organizations.
Experience thinking analytically and strategically about issues and influencing stakeholders, leadership and individual contributors at all levels.
Track record of operating independently and delivering results, embracing ambiguity, demonstrating creativity, and delivering results in a highly organized manner.
Experience building and maintaining strategic relationships in order to influence and drive the program vision in a single direction.
Experience creating and delivering presentations to a variety of stakeholders including senior-level leadership.
BA/BS degree or higher.
PMP or Six Sigma certification.
Experience working in a large, global tech company or other fast-paced environments.
Experience in program management within Recruiting or People Operations.
