You'llachieve this through strategic engagement with governments and related partners, driving market opportunities, safeguarding our business from political and legislative risks, and enhancing our reputation.
Core Responsibilities
Monitor, analyze, and track legislative and regulatory policy trends at the state level on core public policy issues important to the LEGO entities.
Multidisciplinary focus: Engage with a range of topics including environmental responsibility, responsible digital engagement, learning through play, and others.
Strategic support: Support the GPA US team in developing a strategy for activities related to monitoring, analyzing, engagement, and reporting.
Trend analysis: track, analyze, and report on trends at the state level, providing insights that can inform strategic decisions.
Event public affairs support: Provide support on the design, management, and execution of compelling engagement events with policymakers and other partners in key states.
Work collaboratively across the LEGO Brand entities and internal functions/programs to advance our corporate reputation and commercialobjectivesto reach more children with playful, hands-on learning in priority states.
Leverage partnerships, districts,associationsand coalitions to enhance government and public affairs impact.
Foster and grow strong relationships with the right partners within the political, regulatory, civil society, and business communities

The GPA Americas team focuses on issues across North and South America specifically related to business priorities and our corporate citizenship agenda. Do you have what it takes?
Minimum 2years experiencein supporting government and public affairs programs within global or local organizations or government institutions
Experience with state government affairs and a proventrack recordof contributing to public policy objectives
High integrity and a commitment to doingwhat’sright for the company and our primary partners, children.
An independent, self-starter with strong prioritization skills who thrives in both independent and team environments.
Work collaboratively with multiple team members across various departments and fields.
Ability to build relationships and partner effective with government and related customers
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Bachelor’s degree in public policy, government affairs, law,educationor related fields preferred or equivalent work experience
English – Advanced (written and spoken)
Additional details on this position
The salary for this position has a range of $100,900 - $151,300 USD based onanticipatedresponsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints.The LEGO Group carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including but not limited to prior experience, skills, expertise, location, internal equity, and other considerations permitted by law.The comprehensiveremunerationdetails, inclusive of benefits, will be communicated upon finalization of the employment offer.
This position will initially be based at501 Boylston St.in Boston, before moving to a new office location at 1001 Boylston St.by mid-2025. Our hiring teams will discuss this with you during the interview stages.
