Wayfair Manager, SEM & SEO Analytics in Boston, Massachusetts

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Come drive Growth at one of the world’s largest retailers. As the SEO &amp; SEM Manager for the supplier side of the business, you’ll lead the strategy, execution, and own results for three key destinations:&nbsp;</span></p>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Sell.Wayfair.com, our introduction to potential Wayfair suppliers</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Partner Home, the platform on which suppliers run their business with Wayfair</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Wayfair Academy, the educational hub for suppliers hosted on YouTube</span></li>

</ul>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">This entails identifying new opportunities, monitoring performance, furthering our understanding of the levers of SEO and SEM, and driving the pipeline of features, tools and tests we launch every month. You’ll collaborate with teams across content, product and engineering. You'll cover a broad scope. In a given quarter you might find yourself updating our bid strategies, launching features that boost semantic richness, investigating Google algo changes, and advising the paid and organic growth strategies of a billion dollar business. This is fresh territory for the supplier side of the business, with the tools, experience and resources of a large company to pull from on the consumer side.</span></p>

<h3><span style="font-weight: 400;">What You'll Do</span></h3>

<ul>

<li><strong>Establish and run our SEO (in its early stages) and SEM (not yet established) practices</strong></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Identify new traffic opportunities and unmet user intents</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Perform competitive analysis against other major retailers’ supplier platforms</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Design and execute tests, collect and analyze data, identify trends and insights to maximize our ROI in paid search campaigns</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Analyze and report on website analytics, pay-per-click (PPC) initiatives and campaigns</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Manage campaign expenses, staying on budget, estimating monthly costs and reconciling discrepancies</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Identify and address potential competitive keywords between our consumer, professional and supplier sites</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Build a pipeline of new features improving organic landing experiences and rankings</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Design test plans to further our understanding of the levers of SEO</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Apply NLP and other advanced models to improve page quality and relevance</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Lead the research and insight implementation from activities including: competitor analysis, site audits, opportunity analysis, content strategy, and more.</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Own measurement and performance reporting for Partner Home SEO</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Educate colleagues on the supplier side of the business on SEO</span></li>

<h3><span style="font-weight: 400;">What You'll Need</span></h3>

<ul>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">6+ years working between SEO and SEM</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Intellectual curiosity and persistence</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Experience manipulating large datasets such as server logs</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Effective communicator</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Team player</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Fundamental understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and how the web works</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Coding and prototyping skills a plus</span></li>

<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Ecommerce experience a plus</span></li>
