The Colleague Services and Digital Capabilities (CSDC) organization at American Express plays a critical role in in providing the best-in-class services, capabilities, data, and insights that enable a great colleague experience. The organization builds and evolves essential foundational and operational products and services to enable Colleague Experience Group (CEG) and the business. The CSDC organization manages the ecosystem of CEG platforms, applications, third party partners, colleague insights and reporting, and colleague-related risk, compliance, and governance.
As the Enterprise Manager of Colleague Strategic Insights Reporting, you will be a key part of the planning, execution, and delivery of a set of dashboards and insights into the key ‘moments that matter’ for our colleagues within both the physical and digital space. You will work on a multi-year cross-functional effort with participation from stakeholders including, but not limited to Colleague Insights Data Science team, Technology, Implementations, Servicing, and Corporate Affairs & Communications.
The Enterprise Manager of Colleagues Insights & Analytics is responsible for proactively identifying opportunities to drive Colleague Engagement and loyalty through clear, consistent reporting and insights. The successful candidate is a proactive and strategic thought leader, effective at turning data into insights. In this exciting role, the Manager will formulate the business requirements, translate requirements into impactful dashboards and reporting and deliver insights that will lead to informing colleague initiatives and strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Manage an existing portfolio of reporting and analysis and work to develop the business requirements for new reporting solutions focused on American Express business goals.
Partner with the cross functional team to distill, manage, identify and translate needs into business requirements to deliver insightful data/reporting and dashboards across multiple data sources and systems.
Deliver best in class reporting/dashboards, insights and analytics to inform CEG strategy and offerings and provide actionable recommendations on key priorities. Explore and connect disparate data including colleague demographics, performance, and recruitment information.
Provide leadership around data design and visualization for business users via dashboard development (offline and online tools Tableau/Power Bi, etc.)
Understand how to find insights on colleague behaviors to identify trends and evaluate the impact of Amex & CEG initiatives on Amex Colleagues. Turn data into a cohesive story; develop and present compelling presentations that bring the insights and opportunities to life.
Drive the business requirements for advanced analytics in partnership with Colleague Insights Data Science team.
Establish relationships and collaborate with Amex colleagues on key initiatives and business questions.
Minimum Qualifications
5 years relevant experience; prior corporate experience a must
5 years of experience designing, developing, implementing, monitoring, and enhancing a variety of user dashboards (Tableau, PowerBI, other digital and non-digital reporting)
Robust analytical skills, with a knack for identifying relevant trends and using data to inform strategies.
Excellent project management and organizational skills, including juggling multiple priorities, attention to detail, and meeting tight timelines.
Quantitative acumen with an understanding of advanced statistical methodologies and
Working experience with an analytical language (Python, R, or the equivalent) and databases (Hive, SQL, or the equivalent)
Excellent communication and presentation skills, Experience working with multiple stakeholders in translating business needs to technical solution requirements and utilize heterogeneous data systems to build simple and complex analytics solutions.
Bachelor’s Degree required, or higher in statistics, data science, computer science, actuarial science, or related field of study.
MBA or Advanced Degree preferred.
Qualifications
Salary Range: $80,000.00 to $155,000.00 annually bonus benefits
