Boston University MANAGER, MEDIA PRODUCTION, College of Fine Arts in BOSTON, Massachusetts
The College of Fine Arts seeks a Media Production Manager. This position works within the CFA Communications team to set the priorities for the media production team, creating campaigns designed to tell the CFA story, and is responsible for the daily and on-going operations of the College of Fine Arts Media Production Studio. As part of the CFA Communications Department, the Media Production Manager works with the Director of Communications and department colleagues to identify goals, define strategy, and produce compelling, impactful video content. In support of the College and the Schools, content ranges from student, faculty, and alumni features, academic program spotlights, and event highlights. The MPS is a video production suite that provides visual production services to support CFA communications campaigns and contribute to the Colleges and Schools goals in recruitment, enrollment, fundraising, and social media/website traffic.
Required Skills
B.A./B.S. and 5 - 8 years of experience in video production
Experience using a wide range of video production equipment
Able to oversee and execute all phases of video production; including storyboarding, scripting, scheduling, interviewing, filming, editing, caption writing, publishing, and archival
Must be innovative, collaborative, comfortable in a fast-paced environment, and possess the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks on deadline
Requires occasional nights and weekends depending on performance schedules
