Deloitte Manager, Global Compensation in Boston, Massachusetts
Manager, Global Compensation, Acquisitions and Special Projects
The Manager, Global Compensation, Acquisitions and Special Projects will be part of the Rewards, Recognition and Well-being (RRWB) team within the broader Talent organization to assess, calibrate and transition compensation programs for potential and closed acquisitions by Deloitte entities. This role will team with business and talent leaders to assess jobs, base salaries and both short and long-term incentive programs for acquisitions and develop transitions plans for those into Deloitte. This will include assessment of near and long-term investment required to retain and expand critical talent in alignment with business plans and objectives. Acquisitions will often include global locations requiring assessment of various country pay and incentive structures. This role will work closely with the Compensation Managers for the respective businesses involved in each acquisition as well as with the RRWB - Compensation Leader, to whom the position will report.
Work you'll do
Develop compensation protocols and best practices for Deloitte business entity acquisitions
Serve as subject matter compensation expert to internal business leadership and other stakeholders in support of acquisition activities
Participate in due diligence to assess potential acquisition compensation programs including job specifications, base salaries and short- and long-term incentive programs.
Make recommendations for transitioning potential acquisition employees into existing job structures, salary ranges and incentive programs including re-allocating among components as necessary
Assess and communicate investment required to retain and/or grow critical talent in alignment with business plan
Provide compensation support during acquisition transition to leadership and Talent Business Advisors
Support global compensation requirements for acquisitions and consult with business Compensation Managers and Talent Business Advisors around global compensation needs for current business segments including survey selection and benchmarking
Take on additional projects as a member of the Rewards, Recognition and Well-being team as necessary
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required
Minimum 6 years of broad-based compensation, administration, and design experience with at least 2 years supporting acquisitions.
Global compensation experience required
Experience assessing job and pay structures as well as both short and long-term incentive programs to develop recommendations
Experience working in a dynamic, rapidly evolving, and matrixed organization
Expert level Microsoft Excel skills
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships across multiple business areas
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Self-confident, self-motivated, and highly organized with a strong sense of personal accountability
Strong communication and presentation skills, including excellent written and verbal capabilities.
Strong analytical skills, ability to analyze, synthesize and draw conclusions and make recommendations from data is key
