KPMG is currently seeking a Manager to join our KPMG Strategy ( practice.


  • Serving as a key advisor, manage enterprise-wide strategy projects and execute related deliverables for the consumer/retail market

  • Help lead the development of client value propositions that tie strategic metrics to near- and long-term improvement initiatives

  • Lead cross-functional teams in developing and implementing strategic roadmaps, manage key engagement interviews/research and facilitate workshops

  • Act as a team interface with various levels of client executives and KPMG partners/teams

  • Manage the presentation of final project deliverables and advise persuasively, earning the position of a trusted advisor

  • Participate in professional development of more junior KPMG Strategy team members and assist with the recruiting and training of new staff


  • Minimum five years of external Strategy (Performance Improvement) and M&A (integration/Separation, Due Diligence) consulting experience in a client-facing strategy discipline at a major strategy, boutique strategy or Big 4 consulting firm with a focus across Consumer/Retail sectors including food, drink, tobacco, apparel, consumer durables, fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) and luxury goods

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university, preferably in Business Administration, Engineering, or other related field; Master's degree in Business Administration from an accredited college/university is preferred

  • Experience in M&A transaction/business due diligence, integration/separation and performance improvement

  • Demonstrated foundational consulting skills including strong interpersonal and presentation skills, strategic business acumen and deep analytical/problem solving skills

  • Deep experience as an external consultant helping clients reach their business goals and gain competitive advantage via strategic advisory services (to include profitability/revenue enhancement and growth strategy)

  • Strong business acumen, with analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to understand how business model decisions impact operating model design/execution across operations, technology, risk governance and organizational design

  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 70-80%
