Indigo Carbon and the Terraton Initiative are the most explicit expression of our sustainability goals yet. Our goal is to remove 1 trillion tons of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, sequester it in agricultural soils, and by doing that, improve the health of the soil, the profitability of farmers, the quality of our food, and the health of our planet. This goal is massive, and it will require a diverse team to make it happen.

Within Indigo Carbon, the Agronomic Products team is focused on creating the tools and approaches that will enable growers to earn carbon credits while simultaneously building more profitable farming operations. The Agronomic Products Manager will own strategic initiatives that advance this objective, with a specific focus on designing and managing Indigo’s cross-business go-to-market offering. This role will report to the Head of Strategy and Program Management within Agronomic Products.

Responsibilities

  • Design, launch, and manage Indigo’s cross-business go-to-market offerings

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to define offerings that align with corporate strategy and maximize value creation for both growers and Indigo

  • Conduct financial analyses to evaluate economic viability and drive decision-making

  • Partner with Commercial Project Management to establish and steward clear processes related to the launch and management of offerings

  • Partner with Finance to measure and track impacts to business profitability

  • Lead other high-impact initiatives to support the growth and success of Indigo Carbon, particularly focused on driving grower practice change

  • Create frameworks for identifying and evaluating new technologies, tools, and approaches that enable the success of Indigo Carbon and our growers

  • Lead cross-functional working teams to execute against these initiatives

  • Establish and manage key external relationships

  • Use quantitative and qualitative methods to understand what matters to our growers and ensure that their needs and interests are reflected in all of our efforts

  • Create and drive the creation of high-quality content for senior leadership, including slides and documentation

  • Partner with Agronomic Products leadership to craft team strategy

Qualifications

  • Undergrad degree in business, math, engineering, science or related field

  • 4-7 years of work experience, ideally in consulting, strategy, finance, product management or highly complex and creative environments

  • Agriculture experience not necessary

  • Based in Boston, willing to travel occasionally to the field to learn about our customers and products
