WB Games Boston seeks a Tools Engineering Temp to join our Live Tools Engineering team. In this position, you will implement and maintain the tools and service that support our mobile title, Game of Thrones: Conquest.
What part will you play?
Develop, maintain, and improve tools and support applications to help run our online mobile games.
Assist with development including implementation of shared features, bug fixing, and optimization.
Work with the Microsoft Blazor web framework to build rich intranet applications.
Self-manage when given prioritized goals and objectives.
Work closely with other team members and take technical and professional feedback.
What do we require from you?
Coursework in Computer Science, Engineering, or a reasonable equivalent thereof.
Experience with C# and web development.
Ability to work in a collaborative environment and effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical team members.
Ability and discipline to work in a remote environment. Comfortable using remote tools such as Zoom, and Slack for communication.
Curiosity, an open mind, and a willingness to learn and take feedback.
Preference for candidates that are able to commit to at least 6 months (co-op position).
Nice to have skills but not required for consideration
Knowledge of Microsoft Blazor.
Experience with Git or other revision control systems.
Experience with HTML and CSS
Experience using or implementing RESTful and gRPC services.
