In 2020 SS&C acquired Vidado a firm who’s cloud-based, AI driven, platform identifies, digitizes, validates, and enriches data from documents better than OCR technologies or humans. Together with our partners and built on SS&C’s own use in our operations the team is unlocking new ways to operationalize traditional workflows for increased straight-through processing (STP), streamlined workflows, and increased productivity at lower costs.
There is significant opportunity to widen the client base of SS&C’s intelligent automation platform and software such as AWD has undergone significant investment including cloud enablement, and integration to best of breed digital transformation technologies
To deliver revenue growth through sales of our technology solutions including AWD, Vidado and related software and services to new customers, primarily in the financial services sector. Responsible from beginning to end of sales cycle fostering appropriate partnership within SS&C including product and services owners.
Role is focused on generating new opportunities, executing sales plans and working with SS&C stakeholder groups. Role will involve ownership and development of the key relationships within new accounts.
The selected candidate should be able to identify new targets for SS&C solutions and utilize existing network to build pipeline.
Creating a comprehensive sales action plan for target sectors with associated calling program, solution positioning and knowledge of competition
Working with the wider SS&C sales team to develop specific campaigns and initiatives and facilitate cross-selling, with a view to generating new leads and contacts and building relationships
Understanding client needs, strategies and goals in order to recommend and sell appropriate product or professional service solutions to meet client needs Creating a stream of qualified new name pipeline and take responsibility for the process of taking the opportunity through to closure in line with the SS&C sales process, including to negotiate and close deals that meet client expectations and SS&’C’s ability to deliver
Developing contact database, relationship plans, and account development plans
Being accountable for delivery of an annual revenue target
Supporting proposition development by understanding market demands and the competitive landscape
Driving market events /sales activity at industry conferences
Maintaining and enhancing industry knowledge through training and development
Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of work-related experience.
Prior experience in selling Automation, Artificial Intelligence, Workflow software to large companies.
Market knowledge of one or more of the following: fin tech, compliance, business workflow processes / operational efficiency, digital transformation consulting, robotic process automation (RPA).
Experience in financial services, insurance, banking or healthcare.
Strong communication (written and verbal), relationship, selling and collaboration skills.
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales goals.
Self-motivated and results-driven with a positive can-do attitude to achieve great results.
This position will have a home-based office at any of our US locations.
