Lead Product Manager: Multiple positions

Duties:

Responsible for driving the priorities and efforts of the Product Team working on the GrabCAD Print platform. GrabCAD Print is a 3D printing platform built by 5 product managers, 3 designers, and 50 engineers. The Lead Product Manager aligns the Product Team’s efforts with the strategic direction of Stratasys Software. The individual must be able to work in a multi-disciplinary engineering environment comprised of software, hardware, and materials functions.

The following are the overall general responsibilities of the Lead Product Manager, the specific responsibilities within a standard project, and the specific responsibilities within the team.

Working with senior Stratasys leadership to craft multi-year software product strategy aligned with Stratasys’ business goals. Defining and maintaining 3-year product roadmap for GrabCAD Print and aligning it with Stratasys’ Annual Operating Plans. Lead Software Product team acting as Product Owners in Agile Product Development, prioritizing R&D work and writing requirements specifications. Support outbound Product Marketing needs in describing value proposition for new product capabilities. Identifying and measuring key metrics for product initiatives. Steward product development process from ideation, to pixel perfect design, to released software through an agile development process. Managing and coordinating efforts between multiple product managers, designers, engineering teams, marketing, support, and business development working on the product. Analyzing user needs by conducting frequent customer visits, interviews, user testing sessions, and other methods in order to gain deep on their workflows and pain points. Recruiting and managing product managers to fill roles in the Product Team. Implementing and improving product development processes for the product team.

Requirements:

Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering or related field and three years of experience in the following: Working as product manager for web and mobile (iOS and Android) platforms; Using Agile/Scrum methodologies; Writing specs and creating wireframes with tools like Sketch, Invision, Adobe Photoshop; Running in-person and online user testing sessions;

Using major CAD or 3D design software; Printing with different 3D printing technologies (FDM, Polyjet, etc.); Designing delightful, user-centric interfaces for complex mechanical engineering tools; Collecting and analyzing data using SQL, Google Analytics, Excel and other methods; Collaborating with an international organization across sales, marketing, support, and QA teams; Supporting outbound marketing needs, writing web copy, preparing product demos and writing onboarding emails; Support customer success and QA teams by creating supporting documentation, and preparing software test plans; Must have strong communication and presentation skills allowing you to communicate product vision, features, and other ideas to influence customers, peers, and leaders; International travel required.
