The Lead Marketing Manager, Marketing Technology is a critical member of the Marketing Technology Team within the Marketing Operations organization. This role is primarily responsible for marrying the marketing function with the technology that delivers and reports it. The manager is a subject matter expert, crucially important to understanding the needs of our business units and product marketing teams and delivering the technology and functionality to deliver results.
This is a highly visible role that will work with key stakeholders within the B2B business unit. In this role you will need to be efficient with Google media platforms of Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Tableau and Windows platforms (PowerPoint, Excel). Also, strong understanding of email marketing and lead generation preferred. The lead marketing manager will be responsible for the ultimate success of Lumen’s marketing technology efforts.
The Main Responsibilities
Develop data driven B2B marketing technology strategies to help promote and drive revenue for the Lumen sales and marketing channels.
Translate high-level strategies into detailed, tactical plans that lead specific marketing initiatives inclusive of pricing, offers, positioning, tactics, product features and marketing sales.
Actively monitor technology campaigns and direct product marketing tactics through data driven metrics.
Define and track metrics and benchmarks to evaluate performance of our platforms and drive continuous improvement.
Understanding industry best practices for automation tools such as Adobe and SFDC including lead routing, lead nurturing strategy, lead scoring performance, and optimizing integrations between Marketing automation and SFDC (as well as other platforms), including understanding of user and data security practices.
Platform (technology) Optimization
Assist with troubleshooting, debugging, tagging, data collection, data preparation and cleansing or analytics tasks as needed.
What We Look For in a Candidate
Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience.
Typically, with 5+ years of experience or 2+ years of experience with Master's degree.
Experience with Adobe suite of products, preferably Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, and Marketo.
Effective and confident written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate with senior leadership within the organization.
B2B marketing experience (e.g. telecom, banking, cable or content streaming services) or B2B Technology experience.
Experience with Google Analytics.
Familiarity with tag management systems and past involvement with website solutions such as Adobe Experience Manager.
Experience with WorkFront project management software a plus.
