Weston & Sampson Landscape Designer III in Boston, Massachusetts
We are seeking a Landscape Designer/ Project Landscape Architect with 4-7 years of professional experience to assist with a multitude of tasks and responsibilities in our Boston location.
Our ideal candidate will have strong design, graphics, computer, and technical skills as well as the ability and desire to work on complex, multidisciplinary projects. Our work focuses on the development of award-winning parks, sports and recreation facilities, affordable housing, streetscapes, and multi-use trail systems. We are looking for an individual who possesses excellent skills, and are willing to continue developing, related to collaborative and thoughtful approaches for site design, reports, plans, details, and specifications. Also, the capacity and commitment to work alongside our experienced staff in efforts to successfully meet deadlines and deliverables.
What you’ll do:
Landscape design experience from concept design through construction documents on large scale projects
Conceptualizing, organizing, and finalizing plans and reports
Strong technical skills and ability to multi-task
Visit job sites to perform tasks
What you will bring:
Bachelor’s and/or Master’s Degree in Landscape Architecture is required
4 to 7 years of experience in a related position is required
Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and digital rendering software including but not limited to Adobe Creative Suite, Lumion,Rhino and SketchUp. Revit would be a bonus.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must be able to travel regionally as necessary for project meetings and site visit s
