    Basic Function of the Job:

    Responsible for delivering the Global Bookings, Revenue, Profitability, and Customer Share through global Tier 1 account management of assigned customers. He/She will be the primary liaison between our customers and the internal teams responsible for Product Line Management, Development, and Operations across II-VI. Achieve alignment with the needs of the business and deliver the plan while capitalizing on market share and profitability. Must operate in accordance with II-VI Values and in compliance with all laws and regulations at each location.

    Job Requirements:

    Education: Bachelor's degree with Technical or Engineering focus preferred or MBA. Experience: Minimum 15+ years of sales experience with a proven track record of effective account management.

    Special Skills:

  • Strong sales/relationship Tier 1 management or global account management.

  • Good understanding of client's business and ability to create a winning value proposition to address client needs.

  • Ability to establish relationships with customers within C-Level, R&D engineering, product line management, supply chain, manufacturing, and quality.

  • Excellent contract negotiation skills. Ability to maximize gross margin and revenue for the company while identifying and communicating the value to customers.

  • Consultative selling approach.

  • Ability to excel in a cross-organizational, cross-cultural, global team environment spanning multiple time zones.

  • Ability to maintain and analyze critical market/technological developments to evaluate opportunities and risks and communicate updates to the organization.

  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, including international travel.

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Experience with Salesforce, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Email, SAP.

  • Set a high standard of ethics, professionalism, leadership, and competency.
