ISV Technology Strategy is made up of Technology Professionals, Industry Experts, Principal Consultants and Thought Leaders who collaborate with Industry Product teams, Industry Advisors, Distribution, ISV Technical Evangelists and ISV Partner Account Managers to ensure that our Industry ISV [Independent Software Vendor] Partners are achieving Product-Market-Fit and delivering exceptional value to our joint industry customers.
We are looking for an ISV Technology Strategist to help drive and execute the strategy for Financial Services, allowing us to recruit the right ISV Partners to achieve our targets and to help our existing ISV Partners attain sustainable growth that ensures that both Salesforce and the ISV Partner are mutually successful. In addition to working with ISV Partners, you will get the chance to impact our processes and the types of workshops that we deliver within our Product Innovation Lifecycle where we facilitate Ideation with Design Thinking Frameworks and Business Modelling to meet the needs of our customers and the industries that they serve.
3+ years experience working within Financial Services with exposure to Banking, Wealth & Asset Management, Insurance.
Experience working in or with a Product group that delivered enterprise solutions
Experience in Executive Presentations e.g. Pre-Sales, Executive Alignment, Investment Business Cases
Experience in Delivering Workshops e.g. Ideation, Product Validation, Business & Commercial Modelling
Excellent Leadership and communication skills with the ability to create and sell a vision to inspire others
Understanding of Technology Companies and their products that operate within Financial Services e.g. Market Leaders, Unicorns, Disruptors
Experience in building and maintaining long-term trusted relationships that weather the good times and the bad
Experience in building and executing a Strategy whilst keeping a laser focus on the strategic goals and advising on overcoming tactical blockers.
Experience as a Solution Engineer or similar Pre-Sales role e.g. SI, Consultant where you worked directly with Customers to capture requirements and demonstrate solutions
Experience in Project or Program Management where you have instilled good governance and process and managed ambiguity and risk.
Experience working for a Salesforce ISV and successfully delivering AppExchange apps would be a plus.
Detail-oriented with the ability to rapidly learn and take advantage of new concepts, business models, and technologies that have a solution mindset and solid problem-solving skills.
Must be able to travel to Partners’ or Clients’ locations to facilitate in-person workshops or meetings and attend Industry conferences where appropriate (20-25% travel on average but may be higher or lower based on needs).
Must be committed to Personal Development and maintaining relevance, both in Industry Trends and Technology solutions with a Trailhead Ranger being a plus.
Highly beneficial to be Salesforce certified before joining, but it is an expectation that a successful candidate would attain appropriate certifications within the first six months of onboarding.
Ability to ask ‘why’ and have candid and respectful conversations with Partners and Stakeholders
