International Program Manager
Zurich is currently looking for an International Program Manager for our Fronting & Captives Solutions team. Our preferred locations for this role are Chicago or New York, but are open to other U.S. Zurich offices.
As a member of Zurich's Fronting & Captives Solution Team you will enjoy the opportunity to develop optimum international programs for Zurich (IPZ) solutions through negotiating deliverables, ensuring the successful coordination of key Zurich, broker and customer stakeholders thereby enabling the full implementation of the IPZ solution for each assigned customer.
Our International Program Manager is responsible for:
Design and manage an operational action plan, confirm expectations, timelines and delivery dates.
Work with account team to design and articulate program structure and service deliverables with the customer, broker and nominated IPZ service team handler. Work cross class with Underwriters and Relationship Leaders.
Establish and coordinate an account team to understand, service and deal with all requirements and collaborate with IPZ specialist resources through working with the IPZ team managers.
Assist the Underwriter with the coordination of terms and production of the pricing overviews
Oversee the production of all fronting proposals.
Prepare and deliver IPZ proposition presentations to broker/customers.
Ensure all contractual agreements are in place, including policies, RI agreements, collateral and protocols; ensure compliance of program with Contract Certainty and MIA.
Ongoing account management including the handling and resolution of day-to-day issues, performance monitoring, and participating in service review meetings.
Be proactive in escalating potential issues to the relevant stakeholders where this will impact the customer.
Lead/participate in problem solving activities for continuous improvements of the service deliverables.
Interfaces with internal departments such as Actuarial team, Credit Risk, Claims, Technical Underwriting, and Underwriting Support to manage problem resolution related to captive programs.
Bachelors Degree and 6 or more years of experience in the Account Management areaOR
High School Diploma or Equivalent and 8 or more years of experience in the Account Management area AND
Knowledge of international insurance regulatory requirements
Advanced knowledge of fronting & reinsurance program structures
Provide premier customer service and account management on premier accounts
Yellow belt certification
Knowledge of insurance industry products and services; international business knowledge
Strong team orientation including the ability to regularly work with remote team members
Strong verbal, written and listening skills
Strong analytical skills
