The internal M Key Account Manager will support a Team of external Key Account Managers. M Financial is one of the top distribution channels with in John Hancock's distribution.
Prepare product illustrations and make case design recommendations.
Proactive follow-up on those illustrations and potential cases.
Competitive analysis - Present the best competitive position of our products. and understand the proprietary Majestic product story.
Participate in Proactive marketing campaigns for specific promotions.
Coordinate Service issues with M Service liaison and follow up through to resolution.
Provide product training to new M Marketers and Case Designers.
Respond to product specific questions.
Provide training on the illustration system and jhmgroup website to new case designers in M Member firm offices, via webinars or conference calls.
Answer calls on the 800# in-bound phone line.
Support Key Account Manager by enhancing the relationship with M Firms by:
Occasional travel to with Key account Manager to visit key M Firms
Participate in monthly sales calls with M’s home office sales teams to discuss messaging, sales and illustration activity
Quickly build relationships with all levels of the M Member firms to include: Principals, Producers, technical Case Designers and service staff
Identify new opportunities and convey any ideas for increasing sales
Have a sense of urgency with response time and resolution to any issues raised
Attend, participate and present in 1-2 two Home office seminars per year
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or equivalent experience
Minimum of 3-5 years experience working with high end life insurance producers, working with illustrations or advanced marketing concepts
Must have Series 6 and 63 licenses, and state insurance license, or will acquire within six months from date of employment
Experience with running life insurance illustrations, and the ability to understand and explain life insurance products
Ability to navigate and build relationships by working closely with new business, underwriting, post-issue service group, and commissions
Knowledge of Advanced Marketing concepts a plus (both in Estate Planning and Corporate Benefits)
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
