Wayfair Interior Designer in Boston, Massachusetts

<p><strong>Interior Designer&nbsp;</strong></p>

<p><strong>Our dedicated team delivers creative custom solutions for large-scale B2B projects. Whether the customer is a corporate office client, a national property management firm, or a large hospitality group we have the resources to create a space that matches their vision, budget, and timeline. As an Office Interior Designer on the Business Design Team, you would be immersed in all aspects of the design process and will gain hands-on experience working with real clients, on nationwide projects.&nbsp;</strong></p>

<p><strong>Primary Responsibilities&nbsp;</strong></p>

<ul>

<li><span style="font-weight: 400;"> Utilize AutoCAD and other proprietary software to provide programming, space planning, product specifications and parts lists&nbsp;</span></li>

<li><span style="font-weight: 400;"> Generate all required drawings including 2D, 3D, and installation plans</span></li>

<li><span style="font-weight: 400;">Create design concepts and digital presentations with finish selections, furnishings, and fixtures</span></li>

<li><span style="font-weight: 400;">Present design concepts and take detailed notes to address customer requests</span></li>

<li><span style="font-weight: 400;">Work with consultants, contractors, fabricators, to meet overall project objectives&nbsp;</span></li>

<li><span style="font-weight: 400;">Establish project budget and timeline in collaboration with Sales team&nbsp;</span></li>

<li><span style="font-weight: 400;"> Assist in managing client expectations&nbsp;</span></li>

<li><span style="font-weight: 400;"> Field verify critical measurements and coordinate data and electrical locations as needed&nbsp;</span></li>

<li><span style="font-weight: 400;"> Participate in final installation walkthrough and punch list coordination as needed ‘</span></li>

<li><span style="font-weight: 400;"> Participate and/or lead customer meetings&nbsp;</span></li>

<li><span style="font-weight: 400;"> Call suppliers and manufacturers to request samples and other product information as needed&nbsp;</span></li>

<li><span style="font-weight: 400;"> Utilize Project Management tools to manage and maintain team workflow (Salesforce, ProjectHub, Google Sheets)&nbsp;</span></li>

<li><span style="font-weight: 400;"> Mentor Junior Team Members through project collaboration and learning initiatives&nbsp;</span></li>

<li><span style="font-weight: 400;"> Contribute to office activities, initiatives, and learning programs&nbsp;</span></li>

<p><strong>Desired Skills and Experience&nbsp;</strong></p>

<ul>

<li><span style="font-weight: 400;"> BS or BA in Interior Design from an accredited institution&nbsp;</span></li>

<li><span style="font-weight: 400;"> 3-5 Years Professional Experience&nbsp;</span></li>

<li><span style="font-weight: 400;"> Willingness to travel both locally and nationally to client meetings and install walkthroughs as needed&nbsp;</span></li>

<li><span style="font-weight: 400;"> Advanced in AutoCAD or Revit and Adobe Creative Suite</span></li>

<li><span style="font-weight: 400;"> Proficient in CET and CAP 2020 Studio/Worksheet&nbsp;</span></li>

<li><span style="font-weight: 400;"> Knowledge of the design process, including FF&amp;E, furniture systems, specifications, colors, and materials&nbsp;</span></li>

<li><span style="font-weight: 400;"> Outstanding conceptual 3D thinking&nbsp;</span></li>

<li><span style="font-weight: 400;"> Excellent presentation skills including effective verbal and written communication skills </span></li>

<li><span style="font-weight: 400;">Ability to focus on a variety of project types by vertical in various design stages&nbsp;</span></li>

<li><span style="font-weight: 400;"> Ability to work well in a team environment&nbsp;</span></li>

<li><span style="font-weight: 400;"> Strong leadership, organization, communication, and relationship management skills with people both within and outside the company&nbsp;</span></li>

<li><span style="font-weight: 400;"> Extremely detailed oriented with the ability to think critically and provide a strategic analysis on the design and furniture selection</span></li>
