The Team

MassMutual’s Integrated Marketing Team is responsible for multi-channel campaign management across all lines of business, reporting into the brand and customer activation team. Cross functional by nature, our team is at the center of collaboration for multiple stakeholders, planning and executing various strategies and campaigns to deliver business results. We also manage relationships with external agencies to ensure the needs of our internal clients are met. We’re an in-house team of account management experts, and we’re constantly growing and evolving to meet the needs of our partners.

The Impact

As an Integrated Marketing Account Consultant you will be responsible for building a strong connection with marketing and brand colleagues across distribution, creative, product, insights, analytics, and media to drive growth. We’ll look for candidates who demonstrate a strong track record of integrated campaign development, and an ability to collaborate across a transformative organization and COE model. You should be able to anticipate challenges and roadblocks.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with a single marketing channel business partner to understand their business objectives, customer insights, target audiences, and key success metrics for each integrated marketing campaign.

  • Lead integrated marketing campaign planning for a single line of business to ensure brand and customer experience consistency

  • Responsible for developing project plans aligned to integrated campaigns

  • Lead teams of marketing partners to build the integrated marketing plans across the distribution channels and work with business partners to gain alignment. Includes paid, owned and earned content and media channel integration

  • Collaborate with Insights & Analytics Data to set the strategy for data targeting/modeling, design tracking and measurement plans. Review results, check and adjust to optimize campaign performance

  • Brief work into internal and external creative partners including successfully providing rounds of creative feedback

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of marketing experience developing marketing campaigns for brands ideally at an advertising or media agency

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Background in an account management or client-facing project management role

  • Strong understanding of audience-focused communications and customer journey mapping with an ability to clearly articulate insights through actively interacting with internal and external stakeholders to understand their needs and determine experience, content, and marketing communications initiatives

  • Experience working with creative teams, building creative briefs and managing a creative process from concepting through production and launch.

  • An appreciation for the measurement aspect of growth-driven brands and marketing teams

  • Proven ability to think strategically while balancing execution-oriented, proactive, creative and innovative thinking

  • Ability to work well cross functionally to build alignment and reach objectives

  • Strong interpersonal capabilities including abilities to develop strong trust-based relationships, manage effectively and build and motivate high-performing teams

  • Polished communication skills, humility

  • Experience working in a complex business environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Financial Services industry experience
