The Health Engagement Specialist (HESp) will assist accounts in the 100-499 fully insured segment, who opted into ahealthyme Rewards program, with engagement of their subscriber population. The HESp will support the account with communications, programmatic related questions and data review. This role will manage a book of business of approximately 200 accounts and will develop and maintain a strong working relationship with key account contacts and stakeholders. (AE, ASC, Broker, etc.) The HESp will review quarterly data to understand the direction in which to drive communication and engagement with the account.

Responsibilities include:

  • Partner with Account Executive support the transition of the account from initial sale to implementation of the ahealthyme Rewards program to ensure seamless program delivery and implementation.

  • Providing e-mail and phone support for the account contacts regarding ahealthyme Rewards account level issues.

  • Managing activities related to challenges, reminders, timelines and communications, and answering challenge related questions.

  • Provide standard touch points based on where an account is in the program and engagement levels (i.e. 1-month post launch, upcoming challenge, quarterly)

  • Proactively working with select accounts for event scheduling, including pulling the previous year’s event details and schedule and conducting outreach for the current year event scheduling. The HESp will be the BCBS point of contact for event logistic calls and questions.

  • Review quarterly reports with clients, as appropriate, to understand current engagement and discuss how to increase or maintain participation.

  • Support account kick-off campaigns by reviewing onsite opportunities to drive initial engagement in program.

  • Responding effectively and efficiently to additional business needs of the account as appropriate.

  • Select wellness event support (scheduling, etc).

  • Proactively keeping up-to-date on current trends in worksite wellness and the health insurance industry.

Qualifications for the Health Engagement Specialist include:

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written)

  • Experience with relationship management or sales, including strong business acumen and operational management

  • Flexible and adaptable team player with the ability to work independently within the Health Engagement strategic framework

  • Strong organizational problem solving skills with the ability to coordinate and manage complex projects

  • Expert in utilizing PCs and MS Office

Education/Relevant Experience:

  • BS/BA degree in business, communications or health

  • 3-5 years of related experience

  • Health, Wellness or Service Delivery Experience a plus
