Job DescriptionHead of Wealth Management and Investment Services Strategy
This position will be responsible for driving initiatives and supporting management aspects across wealth management and investment services business lines. Reporting to the CAO and Head of European Investment Services, this role is designed to be a 2-3-year assignment with potential movement into a business line role. You will manage a team of 8 Project Managers.
This role will lead/manage strategic and operational initiatives such as Continuous improvement program Capital planning Transition benchmarking on interest rates Client satisfaction metrics and measures Management reporting Driving WMSS strategic plan and associated market research Driving business review processes Scanning for M&A opportunities Leading a portfolio of transformational initiative: in 2020, some examples include LIBOR transition, Digital excellence, Corporate Trust strategy, Pricing excellence projects, partnerships development, Luxembourg entry, real estate optimization, procurement optimization
In addition, will facilitate staff meetings, strategic offsites, employee events, represent WMIS as needed in various corporate activities. QUALIFICATIONS Ideal candidate will have the following qualifications MBA or equivalent 10+ years’ experience, consulting experience in a major firm desirable Demonstrated ability to work across groups, using an influence-based model Strong intellectual curiosity demonstrated ability to learn new content; externally grounded in market trends, competitive events Strong problem solving, comfort with data, analysis, facts, presentations, and Board level communications Courage to disagree; confidence to develop and defend strategic perspectives; maturity to accept alternative decisions Capable of articulating compelling strategies and motivating direct reports as well as indirect reports; with an ability to balance listening and advocacy to achieve desired strategic goals Effectively combines business acumen, sound decision-making, and a bias for action. Capable of motivating and managing organizations or teams to deliver desired results
