FX Connect Sales Executive

Job Description

Purpose of role

  • Responsible for meeting FX Connect revenue targets through the development; growth, expansion and retention of FX Connect clients.

Major Responsibilities

Role Specifics

  • Working with the FX Connect North American team and, where appropriate, the global team to develop, implement and monitor the FX Connect Strategic Client Plan and successfully achieve an assigned revenue budget while contributing to the larger Global Link goals and initiatives.
  • Deliver on a business development plan for existing clients while ensuring competitive threats are understood and addressed; thus ensuring client retention.
  • Identify opportunities for new client acquisition leveraging existing products and sales teams.

  • Drive innovation to maintain competiveness, client satisfaction and increased market share. Ensure that client feedback and enhancements are vetted, specified accurately, escalated as necessary and delivered into the product roadmap.

  • Partner with other sales teams in Global Link to identify cross-selling opportunities; ensure synergies; import and export best practice; ensure coordinated communication with clients and ensure effective and productive relationships across the product silos. Thus driving GlobalLink The Way Ahead (2.0) strategy.

  • Risk Excellence. Operate in compliance with internal and external regulations and make sure that escalation procedures are followed. Be mindful of the risk excellence culture at all times.

Level of Education Qualifications

  • Degree level

Skills and Experience

  • Extensive experience in the electronic trading platform space
  • Proven sales experience
  • Proven ability to manage clients and to attract and retain client business
  • Proven ability to work in a collaborative fashion to ensure excellent level of client service
  • Proven risk excellence capabilities and proven ability when to escalate issues internally
