Oracle Global Sales Incentive Compensation Planning Manager in Boston, Massachusetts

Job Description

The Sales Incentive Compensation Strategic Planning Manager is the key liaison between Global Incentive Compensation and the Sales Organizations, along with all other key partners that make the sales compensation strategic design possible including Finance, Sales Operations, HR and Compensation Administration. This position’s core mission is becoming the Business Trusted advisor while ensuring the business goals and challenges are understood to lead the sales incentive planning process with all parties and reach to strategic sales incentive solutions that align to the business and the company's core mission.

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in Sales Operations, Business Strategy, Sales Incentive Compensation Planning.

  • BA/BS career, preferably in Sales Operations, Business Management.

  • Ability to establish strategic relationships with executive business partners.

  • Enjoys working with the Sales Organizations and has the ability to reach to solutions that may require compromising, negotiation and conflict management.

  • Ability to demonstrate excellent judgment.

  • Translates sophisticated situations into simple statements.

  • High attention to detail while not losing the big picture.

  • Able to meet deadlines and work under pressure.

  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.

  • Enjoys learning and working independently while also thrives on a team environment.

  • Quickly absorbs and adapts to change.

Responsibilities

  • Provides strong leadership to assigned Sales Organizations.

  • Becomes a trusted authority for the supported business core mission and their products.

  • Develops strategic relationships with Business Leaders in Finance and Sales Operations.

  • Evaluates incentive compensation results to determine plan effectiveness and required corrective actions.

  • Ensures sales compensation incentives align to corporate strategy and Sales Go-to-Market (GTM).

  • Leads the design and implementation of new incentive compensation plans and programs.

  • Acts as the Compensation Advisor throughout the year to their Business Partners

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

US: Hiring Range: from $70,600 to $141,300 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

  8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

  10. Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
