Citizens Bank Global Market Operations Collateral Management Manager(Remote) in Boston, Massachusetts

Overview: The Global Markets Operations function within Commercial Operations supports Middle and Back Office functions across a range of Listed and Over-The-Counter (’OTC’) derivative products. This role will work closely with partners in various Trading, Credit and Risk, Technology, Finance and Legal functions on a daily basis

Responsibilities: This position reports to the Head of Global Markets Operations and will have direct responsibility for all Derivatives Collateral Management activities. This individual will:

Define Collateral policy and procedure Ensure day over day operational readiness Chair the Collateral Oversight Group Understand, socialize and implement regulatory change Engage Divisional Risk Committees as necessary Have oversight of regulatory inquiries and exams Actively participate in and represent Citizens in industry forums (ISDA, ISITC, etc. Configuration and maintenance of core Collateral Application (Calypso)

Primary functions include:

Oversight and support of daily activities related to Derivative Collateral Management including: Daily collateral calculation and posting oversight Dispute management and escalation Development and implementation of strategic goals consistent with Commercial Operations strategy and aligned across constituent business lines Management of staff – direct oversight of a team of individuals with responsibility for talent management and staff development Developing and strengthening relationships with key business partners and stakeholders Supporting the development and implementation of strategic business initiatives - new product offerings, regulatory initiatives Strong working knowledge of industry standard agreements (such as ISDAs, Master Confirmation Agreements and Credit Support Annexes) and terms contained within Support across collateral impacting businesses (Treasury, Global Markets, etc.) for new products and initiatives Continuous assessment of technology to ensure an efficient, effective, scalable and well controlled workflow model Ongoing critical analysis of workflow and technology to identify opportunities for operational efficiencies Ensuring policies and procedures are current, effective and well documented Enhancing the effectiveness of existing internal controls Empower reports to identify, escalate and manage issues that present unnecessary risk to customers and the bank and initiate corrective action

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Bachelor Degree required Minimum 10 years of industry experience with prior experience managing staff The ideal candidate will have strong and diverse derivative product and industry knowledge Deep and wide understanding of the Collateral business across products, partners (e.g. Custodians), core technology, and industry best practice Demonstrable understanding of industry regulation and subsequent impact to Collateral and constituent businesses Capable of detecting, interpreting and effectively socializing complex or sensitive issues Analytical thinker who is able to quickly identify connections between various pieces of data and systems and quickly articulate business impact. Displays strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills Working knowledge of Treasury products which may include securities and derivatives Understanding of accounting principles and practice Ability to prioritize, perform and coordinate tasks in a fast-paced environment Hours and Work Schedule

Hours per Week:40

Work Schedule:M-F 8am-5pm
